    • I think the newbie in the back has a question

well I'm new and all so I wanted to know all the stuff I need to make plugins for EVO.
I understand about res-edit and ev-edit. What about programming?
What is that mission editor called again and where can I get it.
Hopefully some "experts" can help this pathetic newbie!

    • Stuff you should know:

EV-Edit will eat your plug. Keep your distance.

Resedit is hard to learn, but is really fairly simple and straightforward. It will not eat your plug. Look around for a guide called the "Resedit beginers guide". It will walk you through editing resources.

Shmelta-V is useful for missions. You need to turn your EVO plug into an EV plug before you can use Shmelta-V. (You change it back later). Shmelta-V is fairly stable for missions, but don't use it for pers and dude editing. It's easy enough to do that in Resedit.

This is damn good advice... if you do use EV-Edit, dont expect your plug to work afterwards...
