    • Emalgha Plug

I'm waiting for ColdFusion to contact Meowx Design for my RPG sprites, so I thought that I'd create a wee plug while I wait. I was reading through the old posts on the EV:O board, and I saw one about creating an Emalgha plug-in that expanded the galaxy and added more ships.

I've never seen evidence of this being actually created. has it been done, or can I have an attempt at it myself? it ouwldn't add much just half a dozen or so systems, a couple of ships and some trading missions and a diplomatic string between the Emalgha and the Miranu (porvided you have completed the UE / Miranu diplomacy missions and the UE / Emalgha diplomacy missions).

It wouldn't be much, but I think the Emalgha should have much more than their pitiful two systems.

Learn to understand, and there will be nothing to know.

Oh, I'm sorry. Did that break your concentration?
I didn't mean to do that.
      Please, continue.
I believe you were saying something about "best intentions."

That may have been my plug, that I am currently working on when I have time. It really wouldn't take me any time to finish.

The plug was a preview for the upcoming "Great War II" plug-in. It involved the expanding of Emalgha space by Emalgha-Miranu relations. The Emalgha benefit by the supplies because they are pitifully unresources, and the Miranu have more trading routes and are protected from the Voinians.

Hmm, I think I'll get back to work on it....
This is my personal list of what I have left to finish/revise.... (probably won't make ALOT of sense to everyone)

    • When I played EVO I always had a soft spot for the Emalgha-- an underdog race/society that, although poorly developed in terms of industrialization and weapons, managed to resist the Voinians. The Emalgha cannons, although limited in range/speed, cause tremendous damage when they hit, and I defeated the dreadnought maxed out on their weapons. I even tried to dominate Voinia using Emalgha weapons, but after a few days I conceded...
The Emalgha "underdogs resisting insurmountable odds" scenario is one that is begging for adventure and development. Good luck to any Emalgha plug-ins, and I hope to play them soon.
