    • Graphics - do you do them, or someone else

      How many people here do their own graphics for plugins? I can only make cylinders and boxes in my demo Infini-D 3.0, so I've downloaded practically every ship available on the 'Net. Is it a sign of weakness to let others do graphics for you? Pale was great, and Soul didn't make a single PICT for it (I don't think so, at least).

      Now I'm rambling. Argh.

      I do my own graphix, and it's not a sign of weakness, just a sign of not knowing how to. I suggest you get mechanisto. It's good for those simple things. I can even send you some ships files if you want. And download my plug! htp://www.geocities.com/siliconvalley/bit/9285/downloads.html

      I make my own in StrataVision 3d, which happens to be the very program used to make the graphics in Myst. 🙂

      Didn't they make their graphics in Studio Pro?

      Anyhow, I make all my own graphics (viewable at (url="http://"http://coldblood.cjb.net")http://coldblood.cjb.net(/url) ) for my plugs. There aren't many people who actually do make their own, though, so not being able to is of no disgrace. The only problem with cruising the free shipyards is the fact that many others have used those same graphics before.

      No, they used StrataVision 3d, according to the making of Myst movie.
