I noticed that Applescript doesn't parse the "ƒ" character correctly when transferring it to the command line. (I think... I remember having trouble with this.) Perhaps that's what was going on here?
yeah that was my problem , but changing the "ƒ" to "folder" fixed it

Seeing as it's working for him now I would say no. As long as the string properly escaped or quoted there shouldn't be a problem.
sorry , but the "ƒ" symbol is what was causing all the trouble , when i re downloaded EVO for Nova i put it on my desktop so it worked fine(thats when i entered my last post) , but later that day i moved it to my Nova folder , and the EVO app started loading up normal Nova , so i moved the hole thing back to my desktop , made a new folder on the desktop , and left the folder unnamed , then i put EVO in the new folder and it worked fine , so i added the "ƒ" symbol that i love so much and started the app again , and what do you know it started up normal Nova. So i simply renamed all my folders that had an "ƒ" on the end to "folder" and it all works fine now .
My apologies for being so wordy
