The best EVO trades routes if you'd be so kind?

      My title says it all....

Please can any posters list their favourite trades route for EVO and their locations (you never know)

or point me in the direction of a trading guide for EVO?

      Thanks a bunch.... 🙂

      Look on the add-ons.
food-equipment run between earth and paaren, and the thehir-gribn run if you have a fast ship.

      Emalghion.

      Explain please?

You can trade weapons to and from emalghion (where from I can't remember but i've got it written down at home)

I mean trades routes like example: earth med goods (low) to parreen med goods (high) then metal (low) back to earth metal (high)

probably a better way of explaining sorry...

    • Duios <--> Tibidat is the one I've spent longest on. Down among the South Tip Strandless, trading back and forth, fighting off renegades and doing the odd Strandless escort/kill mission - great fun; it's only a shame there's not more to do for them, I always found it a really cool part of space.

Mostly though, I just do missions. Unlike in Nova, they actually do fair one well in cash terms!

Ok I'll look at that 🙂

      thank you....

I just captured a Izgadra Cruiser so renegades will fear me not vica versa 🙂

    • Fine work! The Igazra was always my favourite ship. Having it already also seriously reduces the money you need to make from trading hmmm :).

    • Nice job on capturing the Igazra cruiser! Renegades may fear you, but the Zidagar and Azdgari will always hate you. 😄

I always found it a bit tedious to make money via trading alone. If you do the Zachit string you'll be able to simple escort missions for 100,000 credits, and renegade assassinations for up to 250,000.

Yeah I realised that last nite 😞

I just thought it would be easier trading at the beginning instead of working my way up from a helian..... (gets boring fighting renegades sometimes....)

he means metal from kelmoan to emalgha... and I think food or equipment goes back. one of the two. maybe medical shrug

I know the metal trading works (a little hard to get there at the beginning of the game but yeah I'll try that :))

    • I may be wrong, but isn't there a Saalian brandy trade route? Like to the Miranu?

    • Carry equipment from Earth to Pax
Carry crassworms from Pax to Omm
Carry medical from Omm to Telnan
Carry metal to Earth (this one doesn't earn cash, but it meets expenses).
      repeat.

Even with six hired freighters, it can still gain well over half a million per cycle.
Just be careful not to buy the medical at Omm when they are on strike and it costs higher rather than low.

Oh I only thought you traded the brandy with pirates @ Freeport (or around that area).

I will have to try this but sofar I think this sounds like the best response 🙂

    • Buy meds from Himgro and trade it at Munb for Munb leaves to take back to Himgro.

    • Crassworms is the second-best response. I stand by my previous statement.

This is a good run because it's only one jump. Buy Metal on Kelmaon and sell on Emalghia, buy food on Lmeito and sell on Kelmaon. Or you can buy Equip on E and sell it on K.

There's no jump between Thehir and Gribn in the Hatuli system. But you need to be fast enough to avoid renegades.

And don't forget to join the Zacha. They eventually have great paying missions.

Ok i'll try the runs when I start again sometime...

I've joined the zacha and they pay really well (plus the gunship isn't that bad 😉 )

Meh. For what it's worth, I've found that when it comes to the Miranu Gunship, you can really do better than that.

Often, I've found that the Crescent Warship is one of the best ships out there. If it weren't for the fact that it takes a day longer, the UE Cruiser would win in this category.

      Back on topic:

The Miser's Funeral (aka, the Girbn-Thehir run) is a great choice if you've got a suitable ship; try getting a Helian or better, then outfit it with Neutron or Phase cannons/turrets. Once you do that, the Renegade forces become a minor detail; in fact, you can plunder their ships for more cash, making the run even better.

I forgot about the Himgro-Munb run! It is indeed one of the bigger money-making runs out there; however, you need to do a lot of jumping, and you might run into a Renegade or two while you're up there. Be sure you're prepared for this.
