    • So I have this EVO 1.0.0 Pilot File...

And I'd like to make it work in the EVO nova plugin. When I try the pilot converter, I end up with a fleet of shuttlecrafts and some other weird things. Do I need to convert my file to EVO 1.0.2 first? How do I do that?

While I don't know how to do this, I would in general advise against it, seeing how different plug authors use different bits for missions, etc. The EVO Nova plug is a bit buggy, and using older pilot files will exacerbate that. Always better to start over.

I'm in a maxed out banana with about four planets (Voinia, Zidagar, Azdgari, Miranu) left to subjugate. I'm not starting over. If I could play EVO in classic, I would.

    • ...Bananna? What plug is that from? I've got to get my hands on a copy...

    • I assume he's talking about the most phallic of capital ships.

    • What do you have against having a fleet of shuttles?

    • He probably had CWs or other capital ships.

Bremen, PM me. If you send me your pilot file, I will try saving it as a 1.0.2 version, though I doubt that will help you. Nova plug of EVO IS buggy.

I think I had one each Zidara and Azdgari, and maybe a Crescent too?

    • I hate to say it, but this is one of those cases... Use a cheat plug (or make one) just to get where you were before. Then remove the plug and delete it to get rid of any temptation. Some plugs can even set the bits for you, if you say which storylines you were in, had finished, were wanting to play...

(Runs from angry, pitchfork-wielding, torch-carrying, anti-cheat mob... Hides in a wind-mill. Should be safe, right?)

    • Oh, I thought you had no fleet at all before.

I agree; a cheat plugin would be the easiest and best way of translating your old pilot over.

You know, that reminds me of something.
Once, I was messing with EVC data files (non-port) and I messed with something to do with asteroids, and I ended up with lots of shuttles in the Levo system. They weren't escorts/fighters.
