After completing the first couple of missions, I reported back to Parren station. I was told to search for a scientist. I cannont not find the SOB.(not from lack of trying). UE government said he was somewhere in the Crescent and was researching on hyperspace routes past north and south tip stations. Into another galaxy or something.
I would appreciate hand with this problem

Did they specifically ask you to look for a disabled ship? If so, look in uninhabited space by Zidagar.

Check the corner uninhabited system in Zidagar Space.
