I've been replaying the Frozen Heart plug-in recently, and I have a problem. I can't board the Free Spirit ship in the The Carinae system..It either outruns me or kills me if I anger it...I'm flying a Rim Prospector now, and I have about 3 million credits, but due to the time limit I can't try anything else...Any suggestions?

I seem to recall that I aborted this mission, went off, and bought a ship with a tractor beam--which makes the mission quite easy. Make a backup of the pilot file, if you try this solution, just in case there's a major abort penalty.

Maybe you didn't read the mission descriptions very carefully, because that's where the story (and some of the guidelines on what you should be doing) are. At this point you should already have bought the tachyonic fighter, which should be fast enough to keep pace with the ship, at least for a little while.
If you want the ship now it's down south, maybe southwest, in some starbase somewhere, I can't quite remember.
I made this mistake once I think, and I just figured I'd start over.
