Heh heh, here's a really fun challange, see who can do the best with the worst ship. The best of the worst ships are the Shuttle craft, the Krait, and the Freighter. (yes people, I have defeted some pretty nasty missions in a kick arse Freighter). Here are some sample chalenges for you to try in these ships.

1-The most obvios, defeat the dreadnought.

2-Take on an Igazra, (probably easy)

3-Take on a Voinian Frigate or Ue Destroyer.

Hee hee hee, and if you have the option, I'm sure we would love to see your films.

If I still had EVO registered I'd be up for the challenge, oh well. Most people are quite adept at evo by now, so to make it more interesting, you could always play it on Strict

I have something to say about that though, Killing helians with kraits is easy, I've done it. I made a reference to this fact in my story (it isnt up yet because EVula cleaned out the closet) the krait is so much more manuverable that once it gets on the tail of a helian the unfortunate ship cannot turn fast enough to get at a slick pilot who stays right behind. I think I'll give that challange a try, both strict and not.

EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot that I don't have EVO right now > :frown:, It got deleted, I'd better go redownload it and set it up now.

**I think all krait challenges should be voided- regardless of what anyone says, those things are bloody ****ing useless, and no matter how much Monty Pythoning you do, taking on any warship is impossible in them.

quite true, but I defeted a UE Destroyer in a shuttle craft using the monty python. I later procceded to kick the arse of the world that that thing, with only three Blaze cannons!

BULL! I killed the Voinian Dreadnought in a Krait without the monty python! Granted, it took about an hour or two, but i managed. Add in the fact that I'm such a bad pilot and you can see how good the Krait can be!

I do, the monty python is a very difficult manuver with the EVO combat engine, but it is possible.

UE admiral, do you have a screenshot? That would help.

Don't argue with Admire all, I've seen that tricky bastard take down the dreadnaught in a krait, but have you ever captured the dreadnaught? I did, in an Igadzara(sp?), the pilot is up at EVula's site too, capt. richards right admire? The real challenge is taking him down with attacking him yourself, but rather taking out his escorts and letting the U.E. dessies take him down, and I know Admire's done that.

Hmm... I think there's been some confusion. As I said in my last post, i did NOT use the monty python to kill the dreadnought.

No i do not have a screen-shot(i wish i did though).

U.E._General, I put that pilot up at pftn.EVula.net, not you. This is not to say that you never did it yourself, it's just to clear the point that the pilot was mine.

Well if he's the one who put that pilot up, I have a bone to pick with him. I tried to use that pilot and Override told me it was for the wrong version of EV or something like that. Do you know what the problem is?

The annoying person everybody is talking about is probably Zaku, I don't think I've seen a singe topic of his that hasn't gotten locked.

I defeted the dreadnought in an azdara, not remarkable, but capturing it with one% odds was.

I like it how there's still so much controversy about various claims - so long after we had the 'crew of one' challenge :)! The only thing I never managed to do in my Krait was the Destroy The Rock mission - there were just a few too many Crescent Fighters there for my liking. Pretty much everything else can be done, albeit via Monty Python, but the AI infinite afterburner never helps!

I don't know about doing all that in a Freighter though - you really have to have reasonable speed to have any shot at all in the missions to destroy 8 or so Turncoats, and many other things. But provided you got the Cloaking Device on the Freighter, it could probably be done!
