I have just began to play the Override TC for nova, and was wandering about, what the best way to join a story would be. I have a scoutship, and cannot find any other ships in the shipyards. I could buy the alien ships, but that makes the game easy. Help!

I gotta agree with ya there. I've spent countless hours trying to work for very government. Some are very tricky to start.
That and you don't always need the biggest ship in the game. I've taken over the Dreadnaught (fair and square, no cheating), and fixed a few id's in resedit. It was slow and crappy, taking planets was quite annoying, you just got pummeled. The best ship in the game I've found is light weight and almost indestructible, and I didn't cheat to get it. It flys under the Azdgari flag.
