How do you get a deadly rating? I've been trying for some time now. I am at an excellect combat rating right now with a crecent warship. What can i do to get planets to take me seriously?

I normally hang out around Pax in a shuttle. As the UE and the voinians beat the crap out of each other, try to get a few shuts on the voinian frigate or cruiser, 5 min. or so, and you've got yourself an ultimate rating. As Pax is neutral ground, no one will attack you when you take of from there

Edit--If you have a good enough ship it only takes like six voinian cruisers to get a deadly rating(This message has been edited by Captain Phillips (edited 01-21-2004).)

What can i do to get planets to take me seriously?I beleive you've tried to blast crescent ships, but they have littel crew (their 1337 tech does not need to be manned (or aliened or whatevered) much) and your rating is based on the number of the people you've killed...

Killing off Voinians is probably the fastest way to get your combat rating to rise. If you don't want to sell off your current ship and aren't willing to switch to blaze cannons, then you might try what Opalius mentioned and hang around Pax and try to finish off a few Voinian ships as the UE and Voinians duke it out. Alternatively, you could go kill off some human renegades - Turncoats have a decently large crew compliment, which would make it easier to increase your combat rating.
And Pariah (if you'd like a quick answer and not have to download the map) is to the southeast of UE space.
