I just completed FH for the first time.. I think (did it a long time ago as well), having finished the black hole mission. I have done the Jasta Hela missions, too.. and I wonder if there is anything I've missed before moving on to FF.

-I got Anila her letter and brought her to earth.. is that it in FH?

And yes, I did search.

Oh.. I've also encountered missions from one planet to the same planet (passenger missions, I think).. and only on the 'triangle' planets (the triangles on the map in the FH docs).
It looks completely like a normal passenger mission, but gives you a sort of a'hostage ferrying' mission. It was quite weird.

Am I the only one who encountered countless major bugs in FH? I loved what I played of it, but there were a bunch of bugs that would cause the game to crash after certain missions, which would wipe the progress I'd made and return me to the last planet I had landed on, so I could never proceed in the storyline.

It did the ame thing to me, but I just picked up where I left off. I can't stand not having closure on things...

Yeah.. I almost stopped playing at a certain point because I thought something had gone wrong.. (I was doing the Anila mission for the second time, no other missions were offered.. except the diplomatic ones until, after a very long time, I encountered Jasta Hela and got a mission on Earth or Devore). I like FH, but that was not to my liking.

Did you read the read me and remove the QT movie files and the related plugin?
This is not a bug in FH but a bug in EVO which affected some computers 100% of the time, some computers 0% of the time, and a fair few computers between those two.

If you have done this and it still crashes, then email the author.

As far as I know (and, after 45,000 players, more than 2,000 emails and I don't know how many strings on this board, I know quite a lot) there are no outstanding bugs in any of the mission strings, although there are a couple of planets way out there which do funny things (but that's the rim for you).

Didn't want to. I'm lazy like that. (Probably would have saved time in the long run, but I kept telling myself it was the last time it would crash... then it would crash again.) Also, EVO crashed playing without plugins at nearly the same rate. And now, I'm running Jaguar and I haven't reinstalled it yet.

The asteroids in that one system do funny things. But you meant them to.
