The Freighter to Warship Upgrade (it had a another name in the outfitters, but I forgot it) says that the Emalgha can try to perform a similar process to a alien freighter, but cant guarantee perfect results. Does it mean that it only works on Emalgha Freighter? Or does this just be a story that would be true if the EVO universe was real?

I doubt that the upgrade could damage your ship; as EVO doesn't support randomly appearing upgrades, and there are no real 'bomb' type outfits available to an EVO developer.
As for the port, that's a whole different matter...

Well, EVO Data 2 says: Mass -85. ModType: 2 ModVal: 100. Does that tell you how much it gives and takes?

Hmmm...from the EVO Bible:
If ModType is (2), then it's (more cargo space) and ModVal refers to (The number of tons of cargo space to add).
So according to your numbers, the player would gain both 85 tons of weapons space and gain 100 tons of cargo space.
Are you sure the 100 wasn't actually (-100 tons)?

To clear this up and apease someone who wanted me to post...
In order to get the Emalgha 'Freighter Upgrade' (correct name), you must have at least 101 tons of cargo space. That upgrade takes away 100 tons of that cargo space, and gives you 85 tons of weapon space.
Any other questions about this upgrade? (i hope not cause i dont come here very often).

Insanity has its advantages
Dang. This means I cant get it without losing most of my cargo space, even on the heaviest warships. I planned to do this on a Marauder from F-25 2.0. It had 110 tons of cargo, which I though was almost unrealistic for a warship. That leaves me with only 10 tons of cargo space, and I dont know if any of the F-25 missions reguire more than 10 tons. Nova does this, for example, in the Fed Resupply missions. Now if Bomb answered my little thread... Then I could soup my Marauder up even more!

You could just do that, and then get some cargo pods to convert some of it back.

I thought of that, get a Freighter Upgrade and then get a Cargo Expansion to get 20 tons of cargo space. Nova didnt reguire more than that, so thats enough, right?
