    • Nova port bugs - Zidara, Cargo Transporter


      I noticed two things that seem like bugs in the Override -> Nova port.

      1. The Zidara fighter bay disappears the first time you visit the outfitter. You still have the fighters, just no bay to launch them from.

      2. The "Player can use ship's FuelRegen" flag seems wrong on two ships. The Cargo Transporter has a FuelRegen which the player used to be able to use, but its flag is now unset; and the UE Cruiser has no FuelRegen, but has the flag set.

      Hope these can get fixed.

    • I don't know if this is the right way to do things, but i fixed 1) by replacing all Tech values of 32767 with 999 (which is what the Nova scenario uses). Fixing 2) just means toggling those flags.

      But now it seems there's another bug, the "Rescue Voinian Defector" mission isn't setting b1001 on success--so I can still get "Aid the Voinians" at Pax after doing the UE string. (I know you can do the UE string after the Voinians in EVO classic, but you shouldn't be able to do UE before Voinian.)

    • I can confirm that the Zidagar fighter bay has vanished from my shiny new-bought Zidara. This is on a Mac; does this happen on the Windows version, too?

      Vasi, what other outfits did you find using a Tech of 32767?

      I'm going to mention these problems in (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum9/HTML/004570.html")EV & EVO for EVN 1.0.1 hopes(/url), the topic I started in the "Developer's Corner" area to act as a sort of clearing-house for bugs and accuracy problems in the ports of EV and EVO to the EVN engine.
