Ok, I did it all, and finally managed to defeat the renegade fleet (after 50 or so tries) but when I land on Troub nothing happens. When I take off again, there are still no renegade

What did I do wrong???

Okay, first of all: which mission exactly? If it's the first one and you find no renegades, don't be surprised, as there aren't any. Just go back to Huron. However, I think you are talking of a later mission in the string, and I think that people have had trouble with Renegade ships leaving the system in that mission. But it is odd that you see none on take-off even. Try going back to Huron and coming back to Troub, and then if it's still no good, you may have to abort the mission - I'm pretty sure you can get it again, but you might want to make a copy of the pilot file first :).

But now I have another question, what's the most effective missile against the dreadnought, I've been using pursuit missiles...and they're not working!

Ok, I figured out the dreadnought and beat it....but I still can't get the huron misson completed, but I did it! scratches head
