"Ok then I guess it is now or never. Could it be that the renegades know we are coming and are laying a trap. Well it is to late to withdraw no so I guess we attack." -Gordontron speaking to himself
He spoke a simple phrase into the computer: "all ships go." He immediately sent it to all of the Miranu/Zachit/Seleria Fleet and all of the Azdgari/Zidagar fleet. In a flash all of the hyperdrives warmed up to speed and then jumped. All of space seemed to shudder with the immensity of the fleet as it sped through space traveling faster than creatures should. ---A while later--
The Azdgari Fleet shot out of hyperspace first and the real-time world came into focus. Gordontron could see and sense his fleet around him and knew the other battle groups were not far behind. He then adjusted his seat. Looked up and saw Seleria's ship on the other side of the system. Separating them was part of the North Tip Renegade fleet. He then told his generals to wait to use the preplanned tactics until the rest of the fleet came. Gordontron warmed up his phase cannon and destroyed a piece of space junk. The renegades were doing (????) when the other fleets jumped into the system. The fleets moved in place to attack the renegades. The first shot was fired by a G2 Azdara pilot, starting the Battle of the Rock.

OOC: Ok now what. I guess we need Red around and the battle mod.

Battle. Automatically Seleria’s instincts took hold. Her hands gripped Hyperion’s controls. Her mind sized up the enemy ships in the system. Number times power times speed. The renegades were surprised. They might have sensed the Azdgari and Zidagar, but probably not the Zachit. The allied fleets took advantage of their surprise and charged. Seleria did not fire any SAD’s. They were of little use in the asteroid field. Instead, her secondary weapon was Voinian rockets, which she had acquired in UE space. Though she could not always turn Hyperion fast enough to hit a Crescent Fighter, they were useful against larger vessels. The Zachit fighters and aradas surged ahead of her like an endless wave, attacking the renegades. No one was bothering to try to stop ships from taking off from The Rock, which seemed like a priority to Seleria. She hit the afterburner and took off towards The Rock, turrents ripping apart two renegade fighters on the way. As she neared The Rock, she remembered that the Zachit wanted to “take it alive”. That would make things harder. Instead of attacking the docking ring as she normally would have done, she slowed down and targeted ships docked inside. Their pilots had probably been in the bar, and they had not started up yet. If the ships weren’t running, their shields wouldn’t be either. Her first target, a Crescent Warship, exploded quickly and unexpectedly violently after her turrents ripped through it’s armor. The explosion damaged if not destroyed the remaining ships in the ring, but the ring itself had been built unexpectedly well, and the Warship was near the middle of the ring, so the damage to it seemed minimal. There were probably other docking rings, but she didn’t know where they were, so she decided to now focus on enemy ships that were in the space around The Rock. With a grin, Seleria steered Hyperion after a renegade arada that had just flown by, targeting a Zidara, and quickly ripped it apart with her turrents and a few rockets, attacking it from behind. Unfourtunately her dash and gained unwanted attention from renegade fighters, several were flying back and forth over Hyperion, shooting when they came within range. She shot down two of them, and then hit the afterburner , and dashing over to join a group of Azdgari Warships. Most of the fighters "lost interest". Seleria grinned. Life was good.
      ------------------------------------------------
      Ships Destroyed:
      4 Crescent Fighters
      1 Arada
1 Crescent Warship, and anything else that was in that docking bay. I don’t know how big the fleet is, and how many should have been on patrol, so REDCHIGH, you tell me how many went down with the Warship.

Damage to Hyperion: Minimal, shields are 70%, but are regenerating, out of fuel, but the fuel scoop will soon fix that.

He had grimaced when he was told to put on his official suit for meeting the human, but had done what he was told. So now he was standing, listening to the ambassador speak. He paused only an instant to translate in his head, and spoke with only a small accent.
"Greetings Ambassador. I am Mekar Relshan. I am your translator, guide, and whichever other jobs they decide to assign me to. At the moment, I am to ask you which you want to do first, a tour of the city, or meet our President and the Shartlę. They decided to give you a choice, and also, I am to ask how long you will be on the planet, so if you will be staying awhile, we may make arrangements for rooms in the Ambassador's building. Their aren't many people there right now anyway. So, what do you want to do?"

In the system of Zanat the Miranu working there had finally gotten permission to tell these strangers about themselves. They had little information about them, except that they were called Emlaghion. The sent up a short sum up of the Miranu to the waiting ships. They were traders mostly, not interested in fighting, but interested in making a profit. They added they would like to know about their race too.

The officials on Station Pybin in Priat had been informed of the recent contacts with the humans to the south, and a new race that apparently came from the west, and now here was another one, that had jumped from the west. A quick flitter of messages was sent to Mira and back, and they were given permission to tell this Voinian Empire they could land. Zarta stepped into the communications room on Pybin, sending the message, with both audio and visual, but she was uncertain of the language, and sent it in Miranu.

    • As soon as the first shot was fired a fierce firefight had ensued. The preplanned tactics worked ok. They were able to destroy 6 cresent fighters by drawing them into a trap. The renegades had been somewhat ready for an attack, they had most of their patrols and the side of the system that Azdgari/Zidagar fleets were in. Soon the fighting switched to the traditional. Chaos was rampant and the Azdgari fleet thrived in it. Gordontron told his fighters to withdraw when their shields got too low and then come back into the fray when their shields had regenerated. His Azdgari Warships were acting in packs of five. 16 packs were flying around taking on countless renegades. His aradas were not doing so well. He had already lost 10 of them to the few cresent warships that were in the system. He called the Aradas to come back and provide fire on the cresent fighters instead of attacking the cresent warships. Gordon decided that he had had enough of directing and launched his own ship into the fray. He went for a Renegade Arada that was attacking one of the G2 Azdaras. By the time he got there the Arada was nothing more than a ball of fire. He flew off and saw a straggling renegade Arada that was just coming back from a long patrol. He maneuvered his ship along side a slowly moving asteroid. The arada flew around the space rock and Gordon rushed behind him and opened up. The arada was unmistakably surprised and it struggled to gain a good position. It took a few more minutes of dangerous flying but eventually the arada turned to face him. Gordon continued to fire and the arada had lost all of its shields, the arada tried to return fire but the jamming device worked very well and the swivel cannon shot randomly and couldn’t even track his fast flying vessel. Eventually the Green Menace was his with a volley of phase energy and his shields were blasted down to 70%. His old shield regenerator worked very well, he wondered how well the knew one would have worked, and when Gordon came back in for another attack had regenerated to 80%. This time the arada pilot realized that his dispersal rocket would work well and he fired two of them. The first one slammed into his ship and totally stopped his forward momentum, just as he was going to attack the second one glanced the side of his ship and sent it hurling out into space. Gordon was worried that he would hit an asteroid and he was able to regain control and pull up just above a perilously close piece of space junk. He went back and by destroyed the arada. He went back (his shields at 75% by the time he got back) into the main fray and looked at the damage his fleet was causing. The G2 were causing a lot of damage. The renegades had not prepared for a turret jamming device and so the mainstay of their cresent warships were almost useless. The shield regenerators were also letting their presence known. All the ships except for the Azdaras were outfitted with it and their shields regenerated much faster than they would have without the device, and saved countless lives. The allies were simply overwhelming the renegades and the battle was definitely going their way. He called his ships and told them to remember that the battle wasn’t over and not to get to confident.

      Chapter 11: Unification

      Duios

The Alliance Eight Fleet had recently arrived in the system to maintain peacekeeping efforts in Duiosian space. Led by the skilled Commander Gaal ek Gael—a name that people who could not speak Kayan fluently often thought sounded redundant—the Eight Fleet was comprised of the K.A.S. Seeker , the commander's warship, as well as 2 Laziras, 5 Aradas, and 10 Crescent Fighters. Gaal quickly assumed geostationary orbit above Hindros.

"Lieutenant, open a channel with the Disciple. I need to speak with Admiral Vichama."

      "Aye sir."

Soon the main viewplate displayed the regal features of the admiral of the Alliance Third Fleet. Vichama dusted his uniform adsently, then addressed Gaal.

"Ah, Commander ek Gael. Welcome to Hindros Command. I'll be departing soon to finish our business in this region, and I expect fiercer renegade resistance this time. But before I leave, I would like to tell you about your duties here at Duios."

      "Go ahead sir."

"Yes, well, the leader of Hindros is the High Idealist, an academic. Name of Tra'jun. He seems cooperative, but keep him under heavy surveillance. By the time Hindros has a delegation on Akrayhek, we'll have the shipyards here refitted to making an additional lazira every week. You're to make sure we make that deadline."

      "Aye sir. Good hunting."

"Thank you Commander. I'll bring you some renegade hide."

      "You're lying sir."

"Yes. There won't be any hide left after our weaponry vaporizes their ships."

Gaal chuckled. He signalled for the lieutenant to cut the communications, and boarded a shuttle down to the surface. He had to make it clear to this Tra'jun who exactly was the military power on this world, just in case any disturbances happened. As he was descending, he saw the Third and Ninth Fleets fire their engines and disappear into hyperspace. He smiled.

      ===============

      Tibidat

General Kon ek Gael had been assigned to lead the force that would unify Tibidat with the rest of the Alliance. He had told the Ninth Fleet that they were to expect stiff renegade resistance in the system, as it was likely with the joining of Duios with the Alliance that whatever renegades that had been raiding the Tibidat system were now cut off from an expeditious escape. Hindros sensor logs reported 1 Lazira, 5 Aradas, and 8 Crescent Fighters marauding Tibidat when he left. There was an equal number when he arrived, confirming his suspicions about the effect of the Duios blockade.

"All craft: activate cloaking devices and break into random flight paths. Meet back with the rest of the Ninth at the rear of the renegade lazira. Let's take out their artillery first. Ship commanders are to use whatever tactics they deem necessary to achieve our overall objective."

A chorus of acknowledgments followed Kon's order, and the fleet disappeared from renegade sensors. Kon's command lazira, the K.A.S. Emancipator , mamnaged to catch up with the rest of the fleet in time to fire its SADs at the time as the two other laziras. The rest of the fleet had also discharged a withering hail of phase fire on the stern of the renegade lazira. It's shields quickly fell and the SADs collided with the engines, creating a chain reaction that led to the ship's reactor core. The Alliance had recloaked by the time the ship had exploded, but soon decloaked behind other renegade craft and opened up with all weapons blazing. Two aradas were caught on the angry side of a volley of dispersal rockets after their shields had collapsed by concentrated phase fire, and promptly combusted, the fires subsiding quickly in the airless vacuum of space. By the time the renegade forces had been fully eliminated, the Alliance Ninth Fleet reported the lossof 1 Lazira. Kon hoped Vichama would deal proper vengeance against the renegades infesting Groned.

He moved the Emancipator into orbit around Tibidat, and the rest of the Ninth Fleet fell into place. The High Council of Tibidat was most pleased with the actions of the Alliance, being so kind as to transmit several holofilms of citizens dancing and celebrating in the streets. Membership in the Alliance was soon made official, and a delegation from Tibidat shipped out to Akrayhek on a Tibidatan freighter, a freighter that no longer needed to fear renegades.

Hours later, General Kon was sitting in the main communications tower in Tibidat City. He had acquired the starcharts owned by the Tibidatans, and was somewhat surprised to find that the Igadzra were only two hyperlinks away. Thus, he decided to contact them.

Salutations from the Akrayhek Alliance to the honorable Igadzra Empire. We have recently moved into this region to neutralize the threat of renegades to the innocent populations of the Strandless who have suffered for years at the hands of these pirates. We have fully cleansed Alliance space of renegades now, and would like to ask you if a truce between our two peoples could be established. Were such a truce ratified, we would not come into conflict with one another and instead live in harmony together in the galaxy. This way, you shall be assured of having no enemy at your back as you conduct your war against the Azdgari and Zidagar. We will also ensure that there are no pirates left in the region to trouble you.

      Sincerely,

He leaned back in his chair. Now all he had to do was wait.

      Groned

Admiral Vichama himself supervised the assault on Groned. There was high likelihood of renegade forces being present in the system, and Vichama had taken the liberty of checking Hindros' sensor logs before hyperlaunch. At the time, there had been 2 Laziras, 8 Aradas, and 10 Crescent Fighters registering renegade IFF transponder codes when he had departed. The number had not changed.

Nevertheless, he growled in anger over how long the renegades had oppressed the Strandless people of Groned. Which was why he armed his weapons before cloaking to ensure that he would get the first shot. He soon gave the order for the entire Third Fleet to cloak and conduct the standard Alliance cloaking tactic: hit the enemy in the engines. The battle raged on for an hour, with the Alliance suffering the losses, of 1 Lazira, 1 Arada, and 1 Crescent Fighter. The cloak was doing a remarkable job for cutting Alliance losses.

The people of Groned joyfully accepted full membership in the Akrayhek Alliance, and a delegation set sail for Kayia to meet with the other representatives of the Strandless/Kayan coalition. After the ground forces secured the shipyards, beginning refitting for constructing Alliance laziras, they moved out to restore order and make sure no damaging riots of looting occurred during the reveling.

Vice Admiral Huak looked over his fleet. While not as big as the 2 Armadas, it was still a respectable force. And a similer sized force, commanded by Vice Admiral Giteno sat in space nearby. An upgrade to the SAE is needed, since its targetting system has proved rathe runreliable time after time. It has been suggested that one of the bigger problems is the sensors on the SAEs are not powerful enough to retain a target lock, and are rather easily confused. One solution is a short distance comm system, linking the SAEs in a volley, allowing them to share targetting data, and eliminate false data, and allow SAEs that lose lock to retarget. Several other ideas are also floating about, and they will be revealed in time

    • The Renegade ships quickly recover and regroup after the first wave. They pull back to the station, and the free ships form a somewhat formidable fleet.
"Crescent Warships 9b, 9c, a9, and any other free ships... The Zacha are begging for a fight- concentrate on them!
"TAKE this Zacha leeches! Hyakria!!" A Lazira pilot screams as he empties several dispersal rockets into a nearby Zacha arada. The arada launches it's phase weapons, but it is answered with turret fire from the Lazira.. and the Zacha finally explodes, followed by another renegade battle cry.

The fleet of 8 Crescent Warships form a semicircle, and speed toward the pack of Azdgari warships. They launch SAD's, rocking the first AW back and forth, before strafing them. Azdaras and CF's try to aid their swarship, but they are simply incinerate by the fire between the battling warships. The CW's use the element of surpise to their side and surround the AW, not allowing them to use their speed. The Renegade warships concentrate on the already-damaged Azdgari warship, and as it takes more damage, it tries to escape to between it's fellow warships- with catastrophic results, when it's shields finally rupture and it explodes, it damages the shields of the Azdgari around it.

Meanwhile, Pursuit missiles nad SAD's are flying between two small Zacha and Renegade battalions. The Zacha shoot forward to strafe the renegades, but once again, they simply run head-first into the combined effort of a pair of Crescent Warships, and 3 zacha fighters implode silently in the vacuum of space.

      "Renegade base, come in."
"We hear you loud and clear. continue."
"Have you even considered the probability we might lose the station here?"
"No. We will not lose the station, understand?"
"All Im asking is that you consider what we're up against. The Azdgari fleet alone could probably destroy the station..-"
"Fight or flee. Do not argue. Understand?"
      "Yes, sir."

All over the system, ships are exploding. Azdaras's shields failing under dispersal fire. Zachit ships rocked by SAD weaponry... Zidaras being swarmed and overwhelmed by the phase cannons on CF's smart enough to avoid the beamers and fly circles around even their fighters... But although the Azdaras and Zachit fighters are dropping light flies... so are the Renegade aradas and warships...

"Renegade ships in system... Attention. Prepare for a controlled retreat. Our forces from North Tip are on their way. The station is rigged to explode so get OUT of the radius.
      Rock out."

General Kon ek Gael perused the Igadzra response thoughtfully. It appeared he had secured a truce with the closest Strand government, and the conditions of it ruled out joining with Hrinix. No matter. We don't need fuzzes soiling the carpets anyway. And we can't spread our fleet thin.

He picked up a stack of reports sent in by the field commanders across the planet. The various ground troop forces had secured the shipyards and were even now refitting them to construct Alliance ships. With another week, Tibidat would be producing laziras.

Of interest also was a report from the military police units stationed in Tibidat City. It appeared there had been several bands of looters who had tried to take advantage of the reveling in a malignant manner. The commanders had captured them, publicly tried them before the furious crowds, and then threw them to mobs; the Tibidatans found several ingenious ways of removing the looter taint from their city. The Tibidat High Council had issued a statement approving such an act of justice, which meant to Kon that they were cooperative with the rest of the Alliance. Kon had sent a special dispatch to Akrayhek asking the Supreme Commander to refrain from sending more ships into Tibidat, out of concern that the Igadzra might come true on their paranoid nature. Zathe had agreed, stating that it was more important to bolster the forces that would assult Mavs with the fires of Inferno Arsenal, and adding that Vichama had made a similar request of him to the same effect.

Kon dropped the rest of the stack into the waste incinerator.

      Green Tower

Several thousand hovercars were parked in the main docking area of Kaystra. Zathe ek Daal looked down from his balcony and waved at the arriving delegates: Strandless all, but from different worlds. The Bakoom delegation had arrived several days earlier, and thus had a better feel for the culture of Kayia. The Obutans, Tibidatans, Duiosians and Gronedi had all arrived yesterday, in one way or another. Now they would join the leadership of Akrayhek in the Thought Hall, the main meeting auditorium of the Green Tower.

Zathe spoke first. "Welcome, citizens of the Alliance. There is much to be done today. You all have the agenda displayed on your datapads, so I move for us to begin the proceedings."

"Affirmative," seconded High Idealist Tra'jun and Premier Qalwa of Obutes.

"Excellent. Now, as you know, we're building up a sizable task force in the DSN-4611 system for an eventual assault on Mavs. The first issue is whether or not you are willing to commit your shipyards to the Alliance Defense Force. Signal your opinion."

On the enormous tally board that covered an entire wall, one hundred and one green lights of approval activated. Red lights of dissent were absent. Not that it would matter. The military has the shipyards now anyway, but it's good propaganda to say we received it legally. Now it'll be true.

"Excellent. Now, moving on to agenda item two, in regards to the agricultural distribution across the Alliance..."

The meeting went on for several more hours, and Zathe gained the full support of the delegates. Soon the assault on Mavs would be possible.

    • This post takes place AFTER the battle. Yes, confusing, I know, but factor in that the battle as a whole would have only lasted a few hours, this is taking place much later in the day. wink

      -----------------------------------------
The Renegade arada, escorted by a set of Crescent Fighters, finally finds an Igazra patrolling nearby space. They hail it, but to no effect, for Igadzrans rarely respond to hails. Even though they do not expect a reply, they send it a message.

"Igadzra, please listen to us. I know our governments, the Igadzra and NT Renegades, have never cooperated, but we would like to inform you, we have recieved a message from the Rock, our former base, that they recently were victim to a massive raid- A cooperation effort between the Zacha, Miranu, and... Please believe us... the Zidigar AND Azdgari! We could be destroyed by your forces... And we realize and accept this... But how can you turn down the chance to ravage the Azdgari and Zidigar core worlds? From our reports, the Zidigar and Azdgari can't have many forces left to defend. We're sending you all the data we've recieved from the battle, we hope it can help you. We will also give you our work-in-progress designs for a ship many times stronger than our warship, and we believe it to be a match for your Igazra. We will gladly share the designs if you're willing to give us something in return... Please reply, and allow us to meet with a representative.

The Arada and small fleet wait for a reply...

    • Chak

With a burst of energy, the Igadzra First Armada appeared in Chak. It appeared in formation, a massive shell of Igazras, I.Aradas buzzing about the perimeter. Anything that came close would have no choice but to face the massed fire of the fleet. And although the Igadzra didnt know much about the troubles their sensors would have locking on to the Azdgari, it would not make much difference with the sheer amount of phase turrets firing.

The Igadzra fleet surged forwards, weapons firing. Much to its dismay, many of its SAES lost target lock, and floated off, the remaining few causing little damage. The next volley, 460 SAES strong, was split between 3 Azdgari Warships. Yet again, most of the SAES veered off, but 20 each smashed into 2 of the Azdgari Warships, while 8 hit the third. The 2 hit by the larger volleys exploded, the third warship heavily damaged. And the Igadzra fleet was closing in behind.

      Igadzra Fleet:
      100 Igazras
      160 I.Aradas

      Azdgari Fleet:
8 Azdgari Warships(1 heavily Damaged, the rest with light shield damage)
      30 Azdaras
      27 A.Aradas

      ----

      Vastan

With another burst of energy, the Igadzra Second Armada appeared in Vastan. The Zidagar would have have a tough time beating the Armada. It flowed into formation, one very similar to that of the First Armada.

The Igadzra formation flowed forwards towards Vastan IV, volleying its SAEs in massive volleys, 460 at a time. The first volley smashed into the Zidaras, the Igadzra making sure they targetted enough SAEs to kill what they wanted. 30 Zidaras vanished in a series of explosions, leaving less than half the Zidagar fleet inplace.

      Igadzra Fleet:
      100 Igazras
      160 I.Aradas

      Zidagar Fleet:
      20 Zidaras

(OOC:And yes, I can kill 30 Zidaras that quickly. I could have killed more, but I increased the SAES shot at each target just to make sure.)

      ----

      Duidir
The Igadzra Third Armada appeared in the Duidir system, and moved into a mini-formation similar to that of the 2 primary Armadas. The Azdgari would have as much trouble hitting this fleet as the First Armada.

      Igadzra Fleet:
      50 Igazras
      80 I.Aradas

      Diudir:
      10 Azdgari Warships
      27 Azdaras
      22 Azdgari Aradas

      ----

      Apert
Appearing in a manner identical to that of the other Armadas, the Igadzra Fourth Armada fired its SAEs in one massive volley. 230 SAES span towards Outpost Rai. The SAEs had little trouble keeping lock, the target being a stationary one. No jamming system in existence could stop the SAEs following a programmed course. They smashed into the station, cutting its shields down, and scarring its armour. And the next volley was right behind, and it would leave the station dead in space.

      Igadzra Fleet:
      50 Igazras
      80 I.Aradas

      Diudir:
      10 Azdgari Warships
      29 Azdaras
      32 Azdgari Aradas

      1. Long Range Sensor Distorter :
In order to stop its enemies knowing what it was upto, the Igadzra developed a system capable of turning long range sensor readouts into static. Basically filling the wavelengths that allow long range sensors to operate with noise, the Igadzra have made it possible for them to move their fleets about without anyone knowing what they're doing. By using a rotating frequency, the Igadzra are able to keep their long range sensors working perfectly.

      3)Igazdra Beam:
One lack the Igadzra have is a powerful direct fire weapon of their own. It has been suggested that a beam weapon would do nicely. SInce the Igadzra have nothing like the Phase crystals of the Zidagar, making the beam worthy may be difficult. As such massive resources are being plowed into it, and it is hoped something good will come out of it.

    • (OOC: the Rock battle seems to be moving slowly so I will asume resposibility of some of the action there for the allied forces since the Azdgari initiated the attack)
Gordontron took back over command of his fleet after he saw another pack of Azdgari Warships vaporized by the renegades. The battle had gone the allies way, then the renegades got the momentum and started concentrating on the Zachit. Gordontron sent his whole force to attack from the renegade fleets back as they started massive strikes on the defenders of the Miranu. The renegade fleet became cornered by the Zachit, the Miranu who swong around to the Renegades left flank, the Zidagar who attacked the right flank, and then the Azdgari Armada who cam screeming in. His Aradas took the worst hits as they screamed to help the Zachit. The renegade fleet was simply overwhelmed by the sheer size of the allied armada. Finally after hours of fierce fighting the rock renegade fleet had been destroyed down to the last ship. An assult on the rock itself ensued. Most of the renegades had been in their ships and shared their fate. The resistance was light and cresent was able to take down the security system, somehow. The combined forces cleaned out the station and took prisoners into the main ship yard area to be watched by joint forces.

Gordontron climbed out of his Azdara and survayed the damage. His fleet had sustained massive damages, then he thought of what they had accomplished not only his fleet but all of civilized space. This day would go down in history as an amazing feat by an alliance never before seen. He walked over to some Arada pilots. The Azdgari Aradas had sustained the most damage. Gordontron made a mental note to do something with that design. He tried to comfort them with words and embraced a few new (relative of course) recruits who had lost many of their friends. Gordontron began to wonder about how they would deal with this station. "Piece of c*** if you ask me" one of his commanders commented. Gordon did see the potential usefulness of the station but realized that there was still another to deal with.

Gordon walked into a central meeting area and adressed the commanders of the Zachit, Miranu, and Zidagar forces (also sent, highly encrypted to all their homeworld governments): ooc: (.....) are my thoughts and are not transmitted.

"Today gentlemen, and ladies(he added noticing Seleria lurking in the background), we have completed a great feat. We have taken the first step to rid all of the galaxy from the renegades who are nothing but scourge to civilized people (gordontron had a flash back of his temporary insanity when he thought of making friends with the renegades). We have lost many brave people but we have also cleansed this part of space from the weeds that we know as the renegades. There is another remarkable thing that has happend as a byproduct of this endeavor. For the first time 4 different governments have come together in a common cause. I never thought I would say this but... all of you have fought as well as I would expect any Aqzdgari to fight. I would like to call attention to Seleria who decided on her own accord to help us and rid the galaxy of these renegades. She took the initiative and saved many lives by destroy tens of ships that were still in the hanger.
As we think about how to deal with this station and how to best attack the other renegade system I would like to offer all of you a permanent peace treaty and trade options. This will come shockingly to the Zidagar especially who have been my long sworn enemy. I realize now that peace between our nations will benefit all of us more than war. I have not consulted with anyone and who knows I may even lose my position, which I chersih. Now if you will leave me I think that I will start to move my forces into position to attack the other renegade system." -Gordontron

Gordontron re-launched his fleet after repairing some damage, refueling, and getting an hour of shut eye. They were about to jump to Raigar to regroup when they recieved a message from Azdgari:
Attention Gordontron the Igazdra are launching a massive attack on our systems. We are not sure where but they are two jumps away and we need back up. We have already started to evacuate the elders, woman, and children to Dirach. Our traveling patrol has been withdrawn into the Chak system. We are alerting all our ships to deploy.
      -Dunglack, temporary home military commander
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------
He ordered his fleet to rush back to Azdgari space at full speed.

Many thoughts ran through his mind all jumbled. She sent a message back to Azdgari space to tell them that the battle fleet was on its way back.

      Chak

The Igadzra fleet surged fowardsa, engulfing the Azdgari. It was a massacre. It did not matter that the Igazras 500 Phase turrets could not get a good luck. They just hit other Azdgari ships. At the short range, the Igazras could also fire their dispersal rockets. They jsut added to the carnage. And at that range, the SAEs couldnt lose target lock if they tried.

The Azdgari fleet, apparently asleep, without orders or commands, died. Why they had not reacted could not be said, but it had cost them.

      ----

      Duidir

The Igadzra fleet continued its movement forwards, covering the Azdgari fleet, turning it into so much debris. SAEs rained down on the planet, turning the Azdgari outpost into rubble. It would not be used again.

      ----

      Apert

The Igadzra fleet smashed into the Azdgari, flowing over the station like water over a rock. When it passed, little remained of the immobile Azdgari, the station dead in space, massive holes torn through its armour.

The Igazdra fleet was massive thought the system commander. Their size was their only advantage. The Azdgari were defending their home which gave them an edge over the mauraders who were fighting out of lust rather than passion. His fleet was very small and he decided to stall for time. The fleet formed into 3 blocks, Azdgari Aradas and Azdgari Warships, and 2 Azdaras groups which hummed just outside the reach of the enemys phase turrets. The Izdgari fleet had not planned for the jamming technology. It not only totaly stopped some of the turrets it made them splay out. This caused massive damages to the Izdgari fleet and destroyed 7 of their warships before they spread out to avoid this new threat.
