It should with all the speed upgrades it has not to mention the Azdgari upgrade. I was going to ask this same question.

Those upgrades don't technically allow for faster hyperspace jumps. However, since we're just saying that ships of a government move at a specific speed as opposed to ships of a certain class, I say that the upgrades let your ships move at 4 jumps/RTD.

And it's Azdgari, not Adzgari.

I hate to be so nitpicky on you Gordontron, but without having the cleared up I can't make a historically accurate IC post.

In your post you said you contacted the government of Duios. That's perfectly legitimate, but there is no player for that position. If you were trying to contact me, I am based in the Akrayhek system, and I have outlying sortie forces in DSN-4611 and DSN-5651. If you wish to contact my government, you'll need to show up in one of those three systems and send a message or stick around there to conduct a conference with my government.

Really dang I thought that your government was an allaince of all those strandless governments. Sorry I guess I did not contact your government. hhmm... I did not come close to those systems unless I count the Miranu scouting party which I hired, that would have gone down there. Now I need to figure out something to do. Maybe I will let the Miranu get through.

You'll have to tell me, probably on this topic, because you deleted the message to the Zachit you were going to give me in your post that had the meeting in it. I'll edit what the message says on my next post, which will probably be Seleria arriving on Zachit

I feel like a fool. I forgot a golden rule. (Hey, that rhymes! :D) I also left out something else that was kind of important that goes into effect now.

0.1 There is to be absolutely NO use of OOC (Out Of Character) knowledge. (i.e., the Azdgari player posts that he's moving all his ships to his border, out of range of Igadzra or Zidagar sensors (more on sensor range in the next rule), and the other two strand players decide to move their ships to their borders because they saw that.) Doing anything in your posts that involves using information you obviously do not have IC (In Character) qualifies as using OOC knowledge. Using OOC knowledge is illegal. An example of this would be saying you know exactly what technologies your enemies are researching. There is no espionage of this power involved.

0.2 Sensor range, from systems, is 2 hyperlinks (jump lines).

This has now been edited into the main rules post. I apologize for forgetting this, as it is one of the most important webstory rules out there.

Is that the stuff you developed or is that what you are planning to make? If you're planning to make that, append an ETA to it. Also, for the stuff you've finished, are planning to make and/or have begun developing, I want to see a description of it along with the research time.

This is to be applied for all technologies developed by people; it's meant to avoid disputes over uber or unfair weaponry.

Xenocide, this is revoked. You originally only started by making the 30 Zidaras and 20 Zidagar Fighters per RTD. This is considered, and this initial ship production works the same way as I am about to describe for all races, your highest production capability of the systems you have as they initially are. Thus, you cannot have your production producing what you already had, at the same highest rate, and add a whole mess more. You'll need to cut back on either your Zidara or Zidagar Fighter production or both, readjusting your total production to make room to make some of those new ships you developed. And, say your Carriers are twice as powerful as a Zidara, you naturally should only be making half as many of those as you would be making Zidaras with the same production distribution. You must readjust this to reflect accuracy.

If that didn't make sense at all, just tell me.

I just thought that I would offer this suggestion:
Since almost everyone is making new ship designs it would be nice to have a description of what its dimensions compared to other ships are and what it looks like. I don’t know about you guys, and gals, think but saying the new ship has 200 shield doesn’t help very much.

Edit: Another thing. On the G2Azdaras, I used a rather questionable EVO overview website to get a general idea of stats. I understand that it might be off so just tell me and I will change it.
---Another thing on reverse engineering. Does it work as well as the original technology? I would say it shouldn't because otherwise technology would just be stolen all the time and the maker would have no advantage. Also some materials that are needed for building a specific item or ships may not be available to the government that stole the tech. Also some technology is just to complicated for reverse engineering in my opinion. Take Major's gravational shield for instance. With current rules I could just fly down there, get in a fire fight and capture one of his fighters, bring it back to my system and research it even though it is very complicated. Also once I had done that I could manufacture it without problem and use it on the same level as Major. That just seems pretty cheap to me. Disclaimer: I probably missed a rule and sound like an idiot.

All of this can be bought in by "civilians" in EVO, except the Azdgari upgrade, and Gordontron gave that to me.
