      where can i start the murder and art theft strings?

      Haven't played sence Nova came out (can't play without my music now... ehh...), but I believe that the are theft string starts on either Minkar Orbiter OR Rigel OR Parasoja Starport. And I'm slightly more certait that the murder string starts on a planet whose name I can;t remember. It's almost straight west of Rigel, near the edge of the galaxy... it's a fairly new colony planet.

      Yeah... must be. I remember the first mission, but I'm lost for remembering prerequisite missions.

      Got it. The Murder string starts on Home in Betelgeuse directly after the Xenon Probe mission. The Art Theft string starts on Rigel IV after you find the second Thor Superfreighter; you find Brigette Linneman in a bar somewhere in the galactic northeast*, and she refers you to Rigel.

      • Or anywhere else, maybe, but that was the areawhere I found it, and it's possible that the mission is set to only be given on a Rigellian planet
