    • my multiplayer EVO tournament attempt


      this has been going a while, and some of you might be familiar with it, but i was always having this argument with my brother about how my custom helian could take on his souped up blue and white freighter(whatever it's called) anyday. so i made a two player battle arenaa game, but got slack and just implemented helians and no other ships. now i've started up again and am implementing all the evo ships as well of network support for multiple players. i have a demo version which doesn't have network support, as my code is early in testing and isn't public consumable.

    • so Im assuming it all takes place in one system? some questions.

      How about outfitting? You'd have to land to outfit, that's three days in game time to factor in, unless it's done in rounds... outfit during a break between rounds...

    • He is pretty weak in EVO because he's got a pretty rotten ship, I think his rapier was better in EV. But I've registered so I dont know about his outfitting.

      needle missiles, rocket launchers, blaze cannons and phase cannons. ammo is too high to count.
      shields are standard, but set as an escort so you can't target him. only blast radius' can effect him.

      Needle Missiles are weak, but fire fast and and always hit. If you have fought fleets of Human Renegades (like 2 Turncoat 2 Helian) without a Needle Jammer, you know the fast losing of shields is annoying.

    • I dont think that they're anoying at all because they dont allways hit. Also, I haven't noticed a majour significance with the needle jammer. But they are anoying with lots of turncoats and helians in one system.

      I thought they always hit because their Inaccuracy is 0. Well, probably I was wrong.
