How come this forum is almost dead while the EV board still goes quite well?

Perhaps there are fewer large plug-ins for EV than there are for EVO? I'm not sure...also, EV was the original, so when in doubt, people probably just post there.

Actually, I find the EVO board quite dead as well. It's sad though. I'm starting to go back to EVO 'cause the lack of TCs for EVN (one can only play the Vell-os string so many times :p).

I have to agree with EVula. EVO was not much more than a TC for EV. And the EV board has already gone through its required dryspells, and now it attracts n00bs and loyalists while this board is being neglected due to the fact that it is dead in the middle(is that a pun? excuse it if it is).

Given time, I am sure the board will come back to life and enjoy the 1337ness of being a classic.

EV greater than EV:O? Never. Call me a new-fangled upstart, but I like turreted weapons that actually manage to hit their target once in a while.

Uh. EV turrets do hit. Most of the time :). Talking about hitting on turrets, EVO is the one with Blaze turrets, not EV

I must say I like EV a bit better than EVO, because of the annoying sensor interference everywhere that still is there when you improve sensors, because the universe is smaller so I actually know where I'm going when I accept a mission, and because well, EVO's powerups are a bit, sorry to say it, annoying. I liked the simplicity of EV, and although I haven't played EVN much, it looks pretty good, although the universe I hear is even bigger.

Anyways, the biggest thing I dislike about EVO is the sensor interference

After some number gathering and research I found these facts:

1.the EVO web board, at 4552 topics posted and 62855 replies posted, has more posted topics an replies than the EV web board, which has 2390 topics and 41013 replies.

2. the EV web board has 35 posts within the last 24 hours while EVO's web board has only 6 posts.

Just some numbers. Gathered as of 1:50 p.m. 9-18-02.
