As I have mentioned before, the Voinian Heavy Fighter with shield generator and experimental shield generator. It has a huge amount of mass, though I believe the Emalgha fighter has more.

Also, you could try out the Enhanced Azdara with shield upgrades. Insane shield regeneration.

I think the Crescent Warship is best with enhanced shields and engines
Its really quick and thin but after all, its still a heavy warship

The Igazra is definately the best in the game, although the Azdara is my personal favorite.

Well, in terms of raw firepower (as controlled by the AI), nothing can beat the Voinian dreadnought, but I've never tried to capture one or use a cheat to fly it.

Second is the UE Cruiser, followed by the Igazra.

But, I don't like capital ships, so I've never tried flying any of those for much longer than a few minutes.

So, undoubtedly the best I've flown is the maxed out Crescent Warship. I liked the flexibility of the Arada better, though, so I'd say that'd be my personal favorite (well, on second thought, I didn't like the fact that EVO had such an adaptable ship; it made things too easy).
