Many have been awaiting the opening of player slots in the WDC's new team created rebellion webstory, Ascendant. Then again, many more haven't even heard of it. Part of our new campaign to expand the player base for our stories is to invite those with only minor experience as well as veterans. So don't hesitate if you are somewhat intimidated by the Commune - a lot of the people there are the same ones that are in your stories here. Our stories won't be as fast, but for that reason they will be more involved. You won't have to worry about keeping up with fleet standings and resources every post either. Using a unique non-EVO map gives Ascendant the flexibility to take on diverse players and nations. The same map includes a symbol-based planetoid type, installation type, and population rating indicator for each inhabited system.

Novice writers are welcome, but I expect all the webstory big-shots to enter this one.

I think it's one of the best plots I've seen, and it's fitting that it would be hosted by the WDC.

Sounds like an interesting story, but I think I feel that I'm not adequate to be worthy unless I get some experience. So I'll have to come back later when I think I'm ready.

And max II? when did you get a negative rating? You're the first I've seen, it's very rare.

I don't like to have people turn away, but you're probably right. I hear there's a good story that will be starting at the EV board, you might want to be watching for it.
