You can find the way into Troll Sentril if you look close enough, but if won't get you very far until you've finished the business with the captured troll. The guard must be standing near his captive, I would think. Look along the shore. The island can't be very big or very far out. I assume you still have some jumping bean extract available. You might need it. Good luck.

I'm back... I've rescued two daughters, found Troll Sentril, gone in, fallen through the trap door. I've searched and found other postings on this, but there are so many, I'm getting really confused. I'm assuming I'm supposed to do other things "first", in Sentril, then fall through or jump over the trap door??? So, I'm staying away from other postings because I'm getting way too confused. I just need to get back on track on what I'm doing in there...

You've done well even if Aigburr doesn't appreciate your work. Remember why you went to Troll Sentril. You're looking for more information about the two remaining princesses. You have to talk with Ratznest who'll make you a deal. "Such a deal." After seeing Ratznest, poke around a bit in other hallways. You might find more information. I really don't think you should try jumping over the trap door at this point. You'll know when it's time to leave. You're in for another fall.

Hey! I wandered around and did find Ratznest before I came back to the board. Also found Jimmy, went to his mother's and found the third princess! Brought the "Troll House Cookies" and brought them to Jimmy. He closed the trap door, but by the time I get to the trap door (retreived another part the sword), I fall through again. I'm moving pretty fast, but just don't seem to get there in time. I had saved the game right outside of Troll Sentril, so when I restart, I'm back there "before" giving Jimmy the cookies. That way I'm not starting somewhere way back. Anyway, I must be doing something wrong..... 
Adding a Note, I've gone in and killed all the trolls in there and then went to see Jimmy, thinking that would give me a faster chance at getting to the room. Then killing the two guards, just grabing the sword hilt and turning around and running out, but nope. I fall through then too.

Once you get into Ratznest's closet, kill the two elite guards and gather up whatever you want to steal, the trap door is functional again. It's the only way out of there unless you're a troll. So if you've given Jimmy his present and picked up the sword hilt you've done all your business at Troll Sentril. Time to move on.
Edit: Unless, of course, you want to pay the ransom.

Yes, I did go back and see her... When in doubt follow your instinct. Anyway, found the pommel now off to find the last part of the sword I need up by High Garendall.... Yippee!
