Hi, I was working this out, and I don't want to be pedantic, but I think the most efficient Miranu trade in terms of credits/jump is the Himgro-Zachit route, trading medical supplies. Munb-Himgro gives more yield but is more jumps..
Btw, my favourite ships are
1. UE cruiser
2. Arada
3. LAzira
4. Voinian cruiser
5. miranu heavy freighter

I spend most of my time in an Igazra, unless I am cheating and flying a Voinian Dreadnought with original outfits plus shield enhancers, 4 nebula penetration devices (eliminates interference completely), a cloaking device (to surreptitiously park right above and behind your unwary target prior to blowing him away), plasma syphon and 3 SAE launchers. Who needs fighter bays when you have that kind of firepower?

1. Zidara - by absolutely miles.. if you make the fighter bay and beamer sellable. Then equip it with full phase weaponry, 3 dispy rocket launchers and max. ammo and... wow...
2. Arada - Can't beat it for heavy-fighter and courier ability. Dispy rockets again...
3. Azdgari Arada -Capture it - it has a notably higher speed and turn rate as standard.
4. Miranu Gunboat - sell the SAD's and repulsor, replace with (guess..) dispy rockets and full phase weaponry along with engine upgrades... and you have a cheap and speedy light warship.
5. Igazra - perhaps a bit sluggish for me, but who needs speed when you can absorb whatever they throw at you?
And to add some interest...
Mazca's Bottom 5 ships. These aren't the worst ships in the game (the Voinian Supply Ship thrashes all comers here) but are, in my opinion, the most overrated.
1. Azdara. Sure it's fast and has great recharge even for a fighter, but who cares about that if all fights turn into boring Monty Python-fests due to it's lack of any serious weaponry or shield strength?
2. Zachit Arada - Hard to get and nothing special. Looks nice though.
3. Crescent Fighter - same problem as the Azdara, but without the 'great recharge' part.
4. UE Destroyer - Vaguely maneuvrable and good ammo capacity, but slow and weak shields for a warship.
5. Helian - please. Keep the scoutship for a while until you can afford a Freight Courier or Arada.

Thunder: I don't see how a pig or a tie fighter is part of the female body
I go by looks and power. for example my fav. ships are
1. Zidara, coolest looking ship in the game and its got enough power to fit my needs.
2.UE Carrier, i cant place why but i stupidly think it looks very cool :redface: and lets face it...... the thing has the power to destroy an Igazra.
3.Voinian Dreadnought, UGLY AS SIN!!!!!!! but power more than makes up for that.
4.Emalgha Freighter, can survive very well anywhere with 4 phase turrets(kills Turncoats with all ease) and good cargo bay to earn a reasonable profit when trading.
5.Azdara, cool, super fast and if upgraded slightly can kill any other ship in the game.
:pMazca: the monty python dosnt work well with the azdara, but holding A, Space, and up will cause you to circle the enemy faster than they can hit you with their weapons
(neutrons in particular) wining you the fight.

If you're using lightning jump (which isn't a cheat, just a saver of time and nerves) and the caps lock key (2x game speed), the number of jumps is no issue as long as you can make them all with one tank filling (Lazira + 2 fuel tanks = 7 jumps). The most time-consuming part of the process is the in-system maneuvering.
It's pretty simple: As soon as you can buy a Lazira, stuff as many Miranu defense pods into it as you can manage. Bomb the crap out of some renegade Laziras and CWs until you've got at least a million credits. Then go multiply it on the Himgro-Munb run. Make sure you have enough funds to pay the daily rates to your freighter escorts, or they'll desert you immediately and leave you bankrupt.
Ten minutes later, buy your well-earned Crescent Warship.

That's never worked for me really. It works fine on things like Turncoats and UE capital ships, but for voinians I find I always get killed by the rocket turrets if I try and pull that. And for any crescent ships (particularly Azdgari/Crescent Warships and Igazras, generall anything with lots of phase turrets) it just does not work. The phase turrets track you plenty fast enough and you die in seconds.
Perhaps our computers are notably different speeds or something to cause this difference.
On another note, if anyone didnt notice from my above post, my way of upgrading absolutely any ship involved filling it with phase weaponry and then filling any remaining space with dispersal rockets.
