      In the rigilian police thing the first one it says they will be arrested or whatever in 5 days. It takes me 3 days to get off starport,
      and 1 day jumps, it fails before i can even get to the system.. HOW??? do i do it?..

      Umm...... this is a bit hard to understand, but i think that you're talking about the mission where you have to give a passphrase to the democratic spy-ish group on Rigel.

      You should be using a small ship, so it takes one day to jump between systems.

      1. Take off from earth
      2. Go to mars, then straight north to Rigel(don't land between earth and Rigel)
      3. Land on the right-hand planet
      4. Go to the bar.
      5. A person will ask you if you have something for him. Say no.
      6. Go to the other planet in the system
      7. Go to the bar. A woman will meet you, and say "to the ends of the earth".
      8. Say yes.
      9. Horray, horray, order some drinks, you just finished the mission.
      10. If it still doesn't work, try re-downloading the plug-in.

      I know.. But. Look at this
      Ok I land the first.
      get mission, by time I get off of it it is the fourth.
      that leaves me 2 days, takes 4.. any ideas. I've done it before but i toatally forget!!!

      Nm. IT must had been some bug or something cause I started a new piolet and I was fine.

      Was it perhaps the fact that you had escorts? They can delay you on planets.

      Perhaps he means the mission to go from Earth to Earth Station...that had always failed when I took off.

      There's an intermittent timing bug in EVO 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, which causes tightly timed missions to fail, but only in a limited number of cases. It seems to be pilot file related, although often just aborting the mission and doing it again is sufficient. In extreme cases a new pilot file is required. There are a couple of tight-timed missions at the start of FH and FF, so that if this is going to happen, the player will find out early on and start again with a new pilot before having gone too far into the plot.
