Is there any way to revert to a previous mission even if you don't have a save game file? During the end of the Anna Balashova Mission String I accidently destroyed the last Turncoat, and landed :-/. How can I either redo the mission or somehow get the EU Crusier?

Download Mission Computer from the add-ons page. Open the plug-in file in Mission Computer and scroll down to the mission in question. Double-click on it and go to the screen where you can get the mission bits info. Write that number down.
Download Pilot File Editor (PFE) from the add-ons page. Open your pilot file in PFE and click the button for the mission bits. Uncheck the box corresponding to the number you wrote down as described in the first paragraph.
It's a two-step solution, but it got me through Reign of the Voinians II (it's buggy and I may decide to fix it sometime). Good luck.
Did this post? Cool! (Note to mods: thank you for not banning this IP. I promise to be good, and as you can see, I just was.)

I think that you're still okay (though I'm not 100% sure). If you still have the mission, press 'I' and abort it. If it's already gone, try going back to the place where that specific mission originated.
Other than that, I don't know what you can do; you might have to start over (this time backing up your pilot every so often).

Backing up your pilot file before each gaming session is a good suggestion, but aborting a mission is not always a great idea because some missions assign a penalty if you do, such as lowering your karma rating with a particular government or taking money from you.
Try my suggestion in my last post. Unclicking the mission bit in PFE tricks the game and does not count as an abort. If you want to make it as if you did complete the mission even though you did not due to a mistake, note which mission bit is set by completing the mission (open the plug-in with Mission Computer to get the bit number) and then open your pilot file with the Pilot File Editor (PFE) and check the box corresponding to the bit number you found in Mission Computer.
It sounds more complicated than it really is. Both applications are available on the add-ons page and they have intuitive interfaces, although each has accompanying documentation to explain the software's features.
Try it, it works.

**No, (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/missionsuemil2.html#181")that mission(/url) is one of the few non-repeating missions in Override. Once you've failed, you can't get it again. Same guy's (for lack of a better name) suggestion will work, if your morals are loose enough to allow it.

Ummm....
Ok, I know now that the mission bit is 114 (mainly from Shayron's site since the program didn't work)
Now I can't get PFE to work.
When I run it 1st it asks for the pilot file, which I give.
Then it asks for a folder (what folder?), but clicking on "choose folder" doesn't work, you have to chose a file. So I chose the pilot file again.
Next it does the same thing as it just did (another choose folder that actually asks for a file)..and I chose the pilot file again. Now it gives an error saying it can't find the file.
Is there another way I can edit the mission bit
or is there a way to fix the programNote: I have System 7 on my mac...hatefully bad mac
