Well, i was playing Override yesterday, and there were some really wierd bugs. First of all, I was flying around the southern human worlds, and a HUGE fleet of human renegades kept on following me. Now, I didn't have any missions, but I HAD just conqured all the worlds in that area, so I was prepared to let it go as something to do with that. Anyway, what happened was that I took off from one of the planets in the Hatuli system, and engaged the renegades. Now. I pilot an Igadzra so modified as to be almost unrecognisable. In its arsneal, it includes a crescent fighter bay and 3 fighters. However, the renegade fleet was so vast, that I was hard pushed to survive. I was down to my last few ounces of armor when I was attacked by three kraits. I launched my own fighters after them. And now it gets really wierd - ANOTHER renegade krait jumped into the system, whereupon the origional three ceased to target me, and docked with ONE OF MY OWN FIGHTERS, as if they were launched from a crescent fighter! Can anyone explain this to me?

1.0.0 Explains it all. I've never heard of that but you need to go up to version 1.0.2

Crazy, you mean to say that the three renegades disappeared into one of your fighters or that they boarded it? Either way it's still weird though.

Maybe this kind of thing happens when you exceed the max # ships in system? CosmicFungus did say it was a huge renegade fleet. Rather unlikely though; I would have thought the game would just stop spawning extra ships, rather than disappearing a few of them.

An upgrade to 1.0.2 is worthwhile for a number of reasons, but I doubt that this bug will present itself again. I've not seen it in hundreds of hours of play.

That's correct, mostly. You can get 37 ships to appear by filling up the system (with 36 ships) and then demanding tribute. One ship comes out, and then you can destroy it, demand tribute again, and take over the planet.

Using any plugs Fungus? Most plugs nowadays are adapted to the 1.0.3. format, and can do some strange things to 1.0.0..

It's all in the compatibility family..

Get version 1.0.2... I had nothing but problems with the original release (same goes for Escape Velocity).

Old versions tend to be the majority of problems with any software. I use to have a bundle of problems with Stuffit Expander and DropStuff, but I've upgraded with every version during the past few years, and have encountered no problems since.

That last bug you mentioned is weirder then weird.

Did you have some big escorts? If you have a lot of escorts, renegade fleets will follow you around.

No. I had just used a large fleet to dominate all the southern independant human worlds, and the renegade human worlds. Maybee the fleet was bounty hunters. Anyway, it doesn't seem to have happened again.

This still sounds confusing... Are you saying that three Renegade Kraits docked with one of your CRESCENT FIGHTERS?? Geez, that IS weird.

I say upgrade to 1.0.2, though I have heard that 1.0.2 makes guided weapons totally useless.
