OK,Shrout, once again Shade is here to save bargoers from boredom.
Firstly, everyone who stayed on Earth is dead, because I exploded the Moon to kill off all the blockade drones. But hey, let's say I evacuated you all with a Spatial Nexus or something.
Secondly, everyone is now enjoying themselves in a bar on Osiris. The change of scenery won't last long however.
Here goes!
The bargoers are buisily enjoying themselves in a shiny, spotless bar on Osiris, having rounds of drinks and putting them on the tabs of long-dead UE officers the Osirans have never heard of, putting Fuzzes into the toilets, laughing drunkenly at each other, and generally having fun.
Except for Shade, because he doesn't drink alcohol much at all, and in the party of life he's always in the kitchen, which is where he is now, mixing drinks for people.
So Shade is the only one who notices when the air above the counter shimmers and a small, glossy black thing falls out of the air and goes plink as it hits the counter.
The device is about the size of a clenched fist, and covered in little bumps and grooves. A small red light is glowing at one end.
Before Shade can do anything about it, however, OV drunkenly picks it up and starts playing catch with Autonav.
The device goes plink plink plink ploink and bursts in OV's hands. Sickly greenish gas floods out, filling the bar in horrible-smelling clouds. In a few seconds, everyone is out cold
They wake in a series of dark metal cells, with the guts of life-support machinery writhing across the walls. Whoever captured them has confiscated all weaponry, but they didn't seem to notice Shade's kinetic powers, and he easily breaks open the hatch in the ceiling.
As there's no gravity Shade manages to float up and out of the cell. Either they're on a very primitive space station, or someone has purposefully turned off the gravity in this area of the station.
Inset in the wall is a flickering map terminal; it reveals a map of the station.
Council Station
(Remember, the rules I set down last time we did something similar, in Bakoom Bar, still apply. That means no solving the situation in a single post, and no weapons of infinite destruction. Even my kinetic powers have been toned down by contact with the gas)
Enjoy!
