Lets's go back to monster hunting. I'll make a sub plot,
Everyone in the group after they had drunk their fill, we head outside to go alien hunting. We walked down the desolate city streets, now overgrown with vines and plants. In the shadows dark eyes can be seen. We pass a very desolate building.
"I am dectecting some alien life in that building" I say "lets go". And with that the group heads inside... A huge microsoft computer with legs comes out. Everyone zaps the destop to dust. More computers are coming out of the building...

w00t, I'm back! The deluge of people downloading Coldstone slowed my puny 56k modem until I couldn't check up on you peoples.
Anyway; I've noticed that some of you appear confused about the direction of this thing I started.
Here goes nothing, in brief:
I found an old hangar full of cool powerful ships.
In this hangar I also found out that A) the Council has wrecked everywhere except the Strands, and 
the Miranu, Emalgha, Kayians, Humans, Voinians, and all the Voinian's slave races, have banded into the "Alliance for the Defence", to protect themselves against the Council.
But the Council is more powerful, and there's only a few AftD worlds left; I'm on my way to Osiris, one of the few that's left.
Oh, and I blew up the moon to destroy the blockade drones.

Have a question OV or Jess: Is fairyland the same real continent or is it just some magical place (with no snow) that exists only in our hearts & minds?
I'm thinking it's just magical because Jess would seem to a have a different accent than OV, but that's just me.

Payback decides it is a good idea to follow Shade to Osiris rather than be swarmed by bunches of misinformed Wintel machinations. After previous occurences, Payback believes he will follow Shade to the ends of the earth (metaphorically speaking, of course; we've already gone much further than that). 
And since I forgot to mention this in the last post, OV, feel free to IM or email me about questions such as the one you posed to me above. Since it really was only pertinent to me personally, please don't waste a post or two to ask that. Don't worry about it; no harm, no foul, but just for future reference.

If you do then this "one funny bastard", as you called me on page 1 of this topic, is going to lead you to the ends of the crescent! Hehe, only joking. The Crescent is hardly far enough.
Shade, Payback, U.E. Admiral and whoever else decides to come along jump into the Eltor system.
The Osiris system, which is apparently right in the middle of that pentagon formed by Bakka, Centauri, Sol, Eltor and Dogovor, is not listed on any starcharts so Shade stops a passing, blast-scored hulk of an Alliance for the Defence armoured freighter to ask for directions.
Having been given directions to Osiris, Shade, Payback, U.E. Admiral and whoever else decides to come along engage jump engines.
In the universe of objective time, a day passes; to Shade, Payback, U.E. Admiral and whoever else decides to come along it is instantaneous.
Soon the ships are drifting towards Alliance HQ, where they are stopped by a shiny new AftD Patrol Cruiser.
The captain, a 1/4 Hinwar, 1/4 Dieri, 1/4 Dur, 1/4 Ala hybrid named Bill, soon sees their natural talent and heroism( :)), and they are invited down to Alliance HQ for a big reception party.
Some time afterwards, the AftD High Commander, a 1/4 Miranu, 1/4 Kayian, 1/4 Human, 1/4 Emalgha hybrid named Bobette, makes a short speech, and presents them with unlimited access to AftD facilities such as shipyards, outfitters, hotels and the like.
Now aren't you sorry you stayed on Earth?
