I only started this today but you can already tell it's wonderful. I've done so many things already that it's hard to keep up, and still it seems like I haven't done anything. Congrats to the developer(s) on a job very well done.

Anyway, just a small question - I did the whole thing with Katherine Baxter, which was providing evidence that New Venus is controlled by pirates to Earth, but the mission still seems to be in progress. The red flag is still there and on my Active Missions list it's still there, right at the top. Normally I would think there is a continuation, but I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be the last mission for this string (it hints at that in the Active Missions list).

Is it just a bug, or will I eventually get something to continue this?

I believe you will get to continue it. Now, simply for your info, Frozen Heart and its sequel Femme Fatale were developed by Martin Turner. You can find Femme Fatale in the same downloads section you got Frozen Heart in. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info, though I've managed to finish the entire thing yesterday already while my internet was down. It was great fun. There is only one way to finish the game, is that right? I know you can't work for either of the two great empires, but is there an alternative way to play for the Democrats? If not, I'll be downloading Femme Fatale next...

...ooh, and did we get to marry Alana at the end or not?! It seemed so when she came to Devore and said "I don't have to be a princess." or something like that, and then she joined me for the Black Hole thing. But it was never plainly stated (though maybe that's the point) what happens. I like the fact that the plot here incorporates some romance into the game. Makes it much more interesting.

Anyway, I'm rambling, sorry.

okay, that whole baxter thing - got to where it said meet the dude at Devore or wherever - I go there and it turns out I got jacked...nobody's there but people trying to end my ass...anyway, I started doing other missions (the vote one and what not) and aborted that "go to earth for conclusions" or whatever.....did I totally screw up the game? Need help :frown:

Its been a long time since I've played, but I don't think your supposed to abort it. It may be a bug or you just have to wait a while, but don't abort.

As a general rule, don't abort anything if Frozen Heart or Femme Fetal.

And I'm sure if there were any major bugs, we would have heard of them a long, long time ago...

No...your game is still salvageable...you can go back to where you picked up the mission, and restart it. I've started saving versions of the game,titled by the different decisions I made. Just go in your pilots folder, duplicate a game, then rename it. Thanks to the developer, Martin Turner, for the idea, and for his FABULOUS game.
