Jess says it's nearly Christmas and the "holiday season" hasn't even started yet. My neighbor is putting up Christmas lights, though. It's not time for me to think about buying x-mas gifts until December 15. Shade, you don't get snow at x-mas since it's summer in the southern hemisphere, right?

Yes,there is no snow.Last winter(it's spring now,and will be summer at X-Mas) we got snow on the top of French Peak,which is the highest point on Banks Peninsula, which it the highest point in the Canterbury Plains.
I have not aclually seen snow up close,touched it,thrown a snowball,since 1992.
I was 6 then.I MISS THE SNOW!Ah well,the freezer is the closest I'll get nowadays
