    • Paaren Station

I've been taking shipments to Paaren Station to make it a Voinian research center, but I can't find any more shipments that need to go there. Is it in a specific place? Where is the most likely place I could find it?

    • Raise your combat rating to 'noteworthy' and look again. Firing the last shot in destroyer/frigate battles is an excellent way to get kills.

It's a random UE controlled planet, if I remember right. Have you tried Paaren itself yet? For some reason I often pick up a shipment there in that thread.

    • Actually, Alan, I'm about 80% sure that the last shipment does come from Paaren itself.

    • No it doesn't. Just do all the shipments to parren station you can find, and then start visiting bars. The UE guys will ask you if you are willing to rescue the defector again. I think you have to get this mission on Knox, two jumps below parren.

    • After you think you delivered all the shipments, or can't find more, start visiting bars mainly on Earth and you will find it! I had the same problem, it took me 2 days to figure out. Good luck!

    • Thanks. I completed the mission and got a Neutron Cannon for my ship.

    • Interesting, isn't it, how this entire question could have been resolved with a quick visit to my site's (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/missions.html")wonderful missions page(/url)? (And yes, you smart-alecks, I will update it whenever my professors stop assigning 30 hours of homework a night.) If EVula can blatantly self-promote, so can I ... 🙂

    • Hehe, anyway... the cool thing with those missions is that you can get the delivery missions from right next door on Paaren, as has been said. In fact, if you land there and they aren't on the mission computer, you can just get and abort missions to reset it, until one appears there. Makes that string much quicker, and it's often very important for the Dospect Armour! Also, the mission to rescue the defector again from Chorca can come from Paaren, Knox and I imagine others too.. haven't looked at that amazing missions page yet :).

    • I've only recently started playing EV:O, the defector got blown the hell up. I take it this means that I can't comlpete the Paaren Station missions and will miss out on some real important stuff.

    • If you haven't landed, you can hit (Esc) and load "last pilot."

It's always a good idea to back up your pilot file every once in awhile.

Have you tried to get this mission again? I'm not sure if it's repeatable.

If you've gotten a fail message, which you should get on Knox (I think) when you finish the mission, you can't ever get the mission again, and you'll never complete the Paaren Station missions. Unfortunately, this means that you'll never get the cool stuff you would have gotten at Paaren Station otherwise. This won't affect your position in any of the other UE military mission strings, but you'll miss out on some Voinian outfits you could have gotten otherwise.

    • Dammit, I thought as much. I carried on playing and figured I'd get another chance (like I would've done in EV) or there was more than one way to get the station on-line. I'm thinking of starting a new pilot anyway, I just bought the lazira and I hate it.

    • I think I'm near completion of Paaren Station, because I have been taking many shipments from paaren itself to the station. It was free credits, until the stopped! But, I think that the last mission is also at Paaren, the planet, and a great trick indeed, BLACKDOG, that you should take the last shot in battles to raise your combat rating.

And Polecat, that's from Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail!!! 🙂
