I have landed on auva city once, but somehow I can't do it again. I have also never landed on geneva. how do you do this?

do I pilot a UE destroyer? certainly not!

If you hit the numbers on the main part of your keyboard (not the keypad) 1 through 4 it will scroll through the places you can land. In the main Sol system "4" is Geneva. I forget what Auva city is but you do the same thing to get to it.
