I believe that after you evacuate you do the shield booster mission strings, which begin on Xarnes (the home system of the Azdgari)(I'm doing them again, and I stole one 'o their aradas, and they didn't mind, so a warship shouldn't be much trouble). Have you tried landing on Luna? As far as I can remember that's where it started. Hope that helps!

If you have any problems, learn just one of them, and remember they all share the same letters. For example, remember how to spell "Gadzair". If you'd normally spell Zidagar "Zidgar", you'll realise it's a spell out. Gadzair has another "a". That should jog your memory - it's "Zidagar".

This makes me wonder if there are other strands out there, waiting to be discovered (by plugmakers), like these:

I can't seem to find where you get the mission with the Triple Agent plug-in. Does anyone know where it is? I think I've looked in every Strandless system.

Phoenix, if I remember correctly, the misison is on South Tip Station, and you have to run a mission to Council Station, with an insanely short time limit.

The mission is on any strandless planet. There´s a 50% chance though to get it, and perhaps you need a better combat rating
