Trinity is a plug-in, just like Damsels in Distress ... only different.
DiD is a plug-in, but it's a different story line (worked within the boundaries of POG) with a beginning and an end. It's very cool in my not always so humble opinion.
Trinity ... I'm very technologically challenged here ... is a way of playing POG as different classes. You can be a Swordsman, a Ranger, or a Conjuror. Each class has its own specific pluses and minuses, as well as a few additional quests and different abilities. But it all boils down to finishing POG. The outcome is the same, but the way of arrival is slightly different ... if that makes any sense.
For me, Trinity is a way of approaching a game which I already enjoy from a slightly different angle, with a few added surprizes, thereby giving extra play time to said game. Not everyone thinks the way I do.
Can't help with your other question. Don't know if I helped with this one.
I'll shut up and go to bed now.
Hugs and good luck on ya,
P.
