Go and look at them! You don't have to buy them. Just go somewhere where there are a lot of pirates, and observe. Then go to Rigel, and Magella, and laugh a bit while observing their crap-o-matic-fighters. Then come back here and say in a crisp, clear voice; "Icax".

Nor have I. I got stuck on one mission about three or four into FF, and didn't bother. Same deal with ROTV II, actually, when you have to get that new base for the Voinians on the uninhabited planet that you can't land on , no matter what. I tried fixing that one, too, but no luck.
