Where do i start the ji and proxima nebula missions?

Do i need to suck up to a particular gov't first?

To start the proxima neb missions you need to become apart of the Miranu and go to Priat station. You will do the proxima than Ji nebula missions

By "a part" do you mean legal status, or part of the trading society?

You need to be in good legal standing and have done the diplomatic missions, possibly the trading ones, too. Not sure on that one. I would just hang around Miranu space and do whatever spaceport bar mission pops up. shrugs Good luck!

I'm pretty sure you have to have an Ultimate combat rating - and then it is available from any Miranu bar. Of course you have to be part of their trading conglomerate first :).
