Vice-Emperor RMA sat in his command room, looking over the battle reports. The G.S.N. Triumph had been trapped in the Sol system since a prototype version of the scattering field had overloaded the hyper engines. Making it look as if hyperengine emissions where coming from somewhere else was harder than just setting up a low power test and channeling the particles that where emitted. The problems had been overcome however, and now any ship tying to locate any Galactica ship would have some trouble localizing. Guided weapons could not easily get a lock. Enemy sensors would also find it hard to tell how many ships where inside a scattering field. The power of a dreadnaught could create a large sensor hole in anyones sensors. Full scale production is already in progress, and they will be fitted to all Galactica ships soon.
The new point defense system has had its bugs, and work is progressing on it. Fitting the neccesary projection, power generators and targeting computers into a small enough space is taking some work, but it looks as if most of the components for each of the main sections may be intergrated into each other, saving masses of space.(2 posts)
The mass of the Scattering Field being a lot smaller than orginally planned, scientist are now looking at other uses.
---------
Somewhere else:
The Guards outside Hawks cell where alert, continually checking the sensors focused on Hawk. They could tell if the sedatives in his blood where thinning unaturally, and to be safe, once an hour a guard went in, with no weapons, with auto-cannon, along with the rest of the guards weapons aimed at Hawk. The Guard that went in kept out of the way, but if anything happened, the Guard knew what would happen. Manual tests of Hawks blood where then performed with hyposprays. He wouldnt be waking up till Galactica wanted him to.

G.S.N. Triumph surrounded by its scattering field began heading to the galactic north, along with its escorts, each also having a scattering field.

Rima was still seething from being locked into her quarters. She was kicking anything that got in her way. Finally she sent a few orders out. They were to go to the Mercenary Alliance. All of the officers nodded and warmed up the jump engines.
All of there ships were fleeing. Only half of there grand fleet was left but they would survive. Rima finally stoppedkicking at her walls and looked closely at them. Yes, there it was! She ran her hand down the wall and opened something up. Within a few seconds she was gone inside.
Rima came out to the bay that held her Kizat. Originally it had held 3 Humrugars. Now it held her own personal ship. She walked towards it and immediately Melinara fell in besides her. "You going out?" Rima,"I won't be stuck in this ship forever. We'll be out of hyperspace in a minute.Melinara just nodded and they both stepped into the Kizat. As they came into normal space the Kizat smoothly went out and warmed up her own engines. The Mercenary Alliance wanted help with their research and Rima wanted a place her people could rest. She did a few quick scans of the system and then dropped into escorting Savior. Her ships was only diffrent in one way then all the others. Hers had a few silver marks on it. So it was green, orange ,and silver. Not a bad combination. She knew her officers were seething that she managed to get off Savior. She didn't care. They made another jump, and immediately they went for another. A few more jumps and they'd be safe.

OOC: How little people know...
Hawk heard the flare of the cells force field go up. He couldnt help but smile inwardly at the thought of Galacticas sedation. By now, he should well into torturement; odd concerning Galacticas reputation. And to the fact that they knew so little about Kisani biology; their immune systems were somewhat more advanced and sedatives often ran thin in their course after a few seconds, yet it would not show on any medical equipment. Only other Kisani were able to manufactre sedatives capable of working on their race; the Kisani were long gone, fled beyond this galaxy or wandering the stars in packs of ships. There were few left in this galaxy found in a group, and that was on Ragnorak. 25,000 of the race lived there and that would not change for so long as Galactica reigned.
Hawk stayed in a medatative state, his heart beat slow and his breathing calm. To all appearence he was quite under, and he would not act until very sure of his movements. Yet there was always the small chance that things would go wrong. On decision, when a guard passed his cell, he said quite simply while his eyes were closed, Id like to speak to Emperor BattleDoctor, please.
Ragnorak
Charles ODane, a human/Kisani halfbreed, sat in his office pondering what he could do to pass the time. As head of the ship department, he was suppose to come up with new ideas for ship improvements for the Zacha Council. Right now he was just plain board.
He suddenly had an inspiration and he grabbed a holo-imager to craft it. The Echo destroyer was a good ship, yet it could not stand up to Galactica cruisers for very long. The Sedran had been deemed a failure and although it was fixed, the council had other plans for it. What the Zacha needed was a warship capable of great movement and speed, yet could macth the strenght and weapons power of a Carrier; yet it would also need to be of small size to fool any others. Such an idea was unthinkable though
Charles stood in his office for over twelve hours, crafting the ship and working out the details was known to be the best tech below Adan available to the Zacha on the Ragnorak. Yet Adan lacked one thing: a keen mind and fast track of thought. It was said the Charles had fixed an arada in a fraction of the time it wouldve normally taken. Charles had done it in under twenty hours; the normal time wouldve been four days.
When he was finished, the design swirled around in movement. The hull was colored a silver-grey color and the lenght was amazingly small; 110 meters long. There were twenty decks and the weapons grid was amazing. It had speed and grace, and style. A bay had been added on, which could hold three fighters, no more. In all it was a good design. Charles quickly requested a meeting with the Council and he put forth his designs. Three hours later, the project was offical. Two hours after that, the designs were sent to New Haven via the Five World Array.
The Sedran sat in wait within hyperspace, tracking its quary. The new captain, Commander Zill, a Miranu with a reputation for impatient behavoir, was tapping his fingers on his command chair console. He had been given command of the ship and sent to find a certain fleet, yet he had found no trace of it. He was about to call off the search when the sensors officer said, "Sir, we just got confirmation. Their coming this way. Putting on screen."
The main screen was suddenly filled with ships, all of Zidagar design. As they neared the Sedran's postion, Zill ordered a macthing course. As the fleet came closer, the sleek black ship macthed formation with the Zidagar ships. A hail went out to all the ships.
"Zidagar fleet, this is Zacha Commander Zill of the Sedran. Permission to join the fleet; were going in the same direction as you are."

MOD: Bringing the Kisani in is one thing, making them superhuman is quite another. Consider the first part of the post revoked.

The Terran Colony was being set up as best it could. Lance overviewed it all, wondering if they would make it. They didn't want war any longer, they just wanted to be where they were. They still resented Galactica, of course, but no-one in the colony was intent on war...not yet, at least.
Looking through the Garland's technology while they were now stationery was still difficult. A transistor coil here, a strange rifle here - none of which they could use yet.
However, Lance had given the order. Each piece of technology was to be researched and understood. Once they had it all in their hands, they could use the near limitless resources of the Garland and the Galactica Station hovering in orbit of F-25 to build whatever they needed to defend themselves.
Research engineering all the pieces of technology was the main part. Using them to produce new weapons, outfits and craft wouldn't take long after that.
Meanwhile, ideas were being thrown around about perfect ships they wanted to get. Civilians found their spare time drawing up plans for ships, some good, some not, and Lance had to admit he was impressed by their determination. If they all worked this hard the entire time, the Terran Colony might be up and running in no time at all.

Suddenly, the MA fleet jumped into the system right alonside the Zidagar fleet, the Savior, and Rima. Captain Firebird hailed Rima. "Hello, this is Captain Firebird of the Mercenary Alliance 2nd Fleet. If you'd approve, we'd be more than glad to help escort you to MA space."

Saalia. Once a thriving human world of luxury and splendor, knows throughout the galaxy for its marvelous brandy, today this world was known throughout the galaxy as a huge Galactica Prison Colony. On the surface, the general look of the planet had not changed much. Some parts could still be conisdered a paradise. The cities, however, were a different story. Tall, dark, utilitarian buildings housed the legions of prison workers required to keep Saalia Prison Colony running.
In the center of each city was a massive gate. The gate led to a massive elevator, complete with cages and weapons racks. The elevators led to the massive underground grid of cells, guardrooms, and interrogation chambers that was Saalia prison colony. Spanning a good third of the planet, it was the largest prison found anywhere in the galaxy. This was where hawk was headed.
It was a dark, rainy day, somewhat of a rarity on Saalia, when the shuttle from the Incursion touched down at a landing pad near the prison gate. 4 guards carried the unconscious form of Hawk between them, with another 10 guards providing escort. They threw Hawk in one of the elevator's cages as the elevator began to descend.
Once at the bottom, the squad handed Hawk to a mean-looking pair of Voinians. "Be careful with this one, he's feisty and tricky."
"Sure, we will," responded one of the prison guards as they left to drag Hawk off to his cell.

Rima blinked as the Zacha came into view. Savior was not responding and she nodded in approval. She put out the message to the Zacha happily."Zacha Commander, permission granted. Your welcome to join us at will." She smiles before she turned off the com. They started to continue when another fleet of ships appeared.
She studied them even as their message was sent. The Mercenary Alliance had done well, even with the Galactica around. She opened a channel to their fleet and smiled happily, and with relief. Finally, her people might have a measure of safety."We'd be glad for an escort Captain Firebird. Thank you." It was a simple message but her gratitude shone through. She closed the channel and set the ships again off towards Mercenary Allince space.

OOC: Pretty much, Battledoctor, but you always have large clumps of minerals just floating around after something like that. This system has seen two seperate battles as well, so the entire place is crawling with metal.
---------------------------
The Terran Colony had not yet come across any problems. They were definately not thriving, but the people there were working hard at decrypting the technologies of the Garland. Strange items were strewn about on a green field outside of the Garland's shadow, where temporary buildings had already been set up. People were moving along them right now, using various tools to scan through them and taking records.
Still more people were working in taking the Garland about. Most of the huge supercruiser was wrecked, and dead people were everywhere. Officers disengaged it part by part, and then fusion cutters were used to seperate the materials into those that they could use.
Lance kept out of contact with any other races meanwhile. He, and the entire colony, had no intention to get involved in politics and war just yet. There was considerable talk about the still stable jumpgate in the system, from which the Odine had fled and the Garland had escaped ten years ago. Even as the UE had been hijacking alien ships, stealing all available technology, a new superpower had been forming - the Prylak. If the Prylak ever gained enough power in their galaxy, they might choose to send forces through, and in that case everyone was doomed.

OOC: Explanation for the cloaks not wearing out: bigass ramscoops, on all the ships. They were researched alongside with the cloak.
---
A cloaked Prylak fleet hyper-spaced through the Ji Nebula, on a direct route to Dewe after locating the nearest port on long-range scanners. They ignored the F-25 system so that they would not arouse attention in the rest of the galaxy; they knew one thing about this galaxy: News of alien races spreads fast.
They were planning to attack the Dewe system for two reasons: revenge from an ancient subject and xenophobia.
Pirate ships turned into molten wreckage as the Prylak fleet hypered through the systems, with a few Wraith fighters uncloaking at each encounter. One single Wraith fighter was lost, but his ejection pod was found and brought back into one of the Prylak carriers, and he was put into a spare Longbow fighter.*
Soon, the fleet neared the Dewe system. Everyone in the Prylak fleet was exited for the first full battle against a significant system. All the fighters had been individually fine-tuned by expert Prylak mechanics, putting them into perfect shape. Every crewman and pilot was handpicked by the admirals of the Prylak navy. The fleet included two captured old freighters, outfitted with cloaks, carrying extra munitions, in case any if the fighters required a bit of extra firepower.
The entire fleet of 10 cruisers and 49 Wraith fighters** hypered into the Dewe system, and each fighter pilot carefully positioned their fighters in perfect places to make a surprise attack when they uncloaked. Naturally, the freighters stayed out by the edge of the system, away from the future battle.
The captain of the flagship uttered the command: 'Uncloak and attack.'
---
*There's going to be an extra Longbow fighter in the battle.
**One of the Wraith fighters was destroyed; originally there were 50 Wraith fighters.

Carnotaur smiled at the latest tactical reports. F-25 was safely in the hands of the Terran Colony, the Zidagar were going to hide in MA space, providing Carnotaur with a little extra boost of naval power, and with help from the I'ase and the UE, the MA would become extremely technilogically advanced.
Then Carnotaur turned to other defensive matters. He was increasing defense cannon construction slightly, and had ordered a refit for all stations. The refit would add 4 new pursuit missile launchers, 4 new phase turrets (which are easy to get, the MA have a lot left over from when they switched over to Proton weaponry), and an extra layer of armor. The project would take some time, but it would be worth it.

For his excellent work in capturing Paladin and Hawk, Fleet Admiral Voit had been promoted to High Admiral. He felt extremely proud with and extra bar on his epaulets... it meant that he was one of the greatest military minds Galactica could find, and that his methods were outstandingly effective. Voit had been expecting some vacation time but unfortunately for him, he and High Admiral Yar had been very, very busy over the last few days carring out the Emperor's orders. BattleDoctor had told his staff of High Admirals that MA space was to be invaded, and that Yar and Voit were to lead the attack.
The holoprojector in the center of the colossal room was flanked on either side by the two High Admirals. Yar pressed a button and the words "Operation Crushing Blow" appeared over the holoprojector in several languages. The words disappeared, and a map of MA space and the surrounding Galactica systems replaced it. "As I'm sure most of you know," began Yar, his voice amplified so that all the Galactica personnel at the briefing could hear, "the Mercenary Alliance has never been very friendly towards the Galactica Empire. Recently, though, they have begun to give aid to our enemies, and harbor them within their space. The Emperor has deemed this a threat to the people of the Galactica Empire"
Romit became highlighted as Voit began to speak. "To begin the attack, all of you here who command 3rd Fleet warships will report to Romit. There we shall receive some reinforcement ships, just out of the Voinia shipyards."
"While the 3rd Fleet masses in Romit, the 1st and 6th Fleets will organise their forces in DSN-1003 and Kirrim, respectively," explained High Admiral Yar. "When all 3 Fleets are in position, the 3rd Fleet will attack the Mercenary system of DSN-4743. Hopefully, this should draw the MA's forces from the border, and the border should be left relatively undefended."
The 3rd Fleet personnel attending the briefing looked about nervously, obviously worried that they were being sent as a decoy fleet. It had been proven again and again throughout space warfare history that fleets sent to distract the enemy often got massacred. Voit saw the worry on the faces of his men, and quickly tried to reassure them by yelling, "Do not be afraid, my Fleet! We shall overcome all obstacles!" This seemed to reassure some of the fleet, but they were clearly unhappy about their role.
Yars continued by saying, "Once the attack on DSN-4743 is underway, the 1st and 6th fleets will advance and meet in the DSN-8200 system before beginning an attack on DSN-8209. The combined power of both fleets should easily crush the opposition, especially with the bulk of the MA's forces fighting in DSN-4743. All three Fleets will meet as soon as possible in the Emalghion system, and at that point intel reports will be looked over and you will all be briefed again. Dismissed"

"But sir, that's Charlie's point!"
"Charlie don't surf!"
Apocalypse Now
Lieutenant Gordon Hightower was at the communications and targeting console of the M.A.S. Holder, a Mercenary Alliance Raven commanding the local defense fleet of DSN-4743. "Sir!" said Lt. Hightower to the Holder's captain, "I'm detecting a massive fleet of more than 1000 ships entering the system! They're advancing on our patrol fleet, and powering weapons."
"Can you get an IFF reading, Hightower?" asked the Holder's captain.
"Galactica, sir. Shall I order the fleet to retreat? We can't stand up to that fleet out there..."
"Negative, Lieutenant. Order the fleet to come about and prepare to fire on my mark."
"Sir, you can't be serious," exclaimed Hightower, "That's suicide!"
"I'm quite serious, Lieutenant. We can't just abandon this system to Galactica!"
Lieutenant Gordon Hightower didn't have a chance to respond, because at that moment a volley of Cluster Missile's hit his ship, instantly ripping the port hull to shreds and disabling the M.A.S. Holder.
Within minutes, the small Mercenary Alliance patrol fleet was gone. The Galactica Navy 3rd Fleet, under the command of High Admiral Voit, remained in the system, and prepared for a counterattack by MA forces.

OOC: Battledoctor, that's controlling their forces, and is not allowed. Nor is double posting like that, sorry.
As a background development, I'm stating that the Zacha and Zidagar are both in Mercenary Alliance territory, as they have been travelling enough time, just haven't been posting so much.
Finally, Battledoctor, the MA are the last thing on your mind, as the Prylak are currently attacking your system of Dewe.
---------------------
(as no completion post has been made, I will make it as the outcome is clear)
The Prylak forces swarmed into Dewe, and at first the defending Galactica ships, almost seventy, were overwhelmed by these strange vessels they had not before seen. Prylak ships charged, discharging their weapons and using their speed to outmanouevre Galactica's slower forces.
The battle didn't last long at all, barely ten minutes, until all seventy Galactica ships were destroyed, at a loss of about six Prylak fighters.

OOC: Okay, people, I know that RoC 2 is getting extremely confusing right now, and people are starting not to post. So please mention any problems to me through, any at all. Just so everyone knows:
Fleet Locations
UE - The remaining UE forces are in MA space, under MA command.
Mercenary Alliance - In their own space defending.
Zidagar - In MA space.
Zacha - In MA space.
Galactica - A large fleet near MA space, forces spread out across the galaxy.
I'ase - I don't have a clue. Asriel?
Prylak - A small group of ships just finished causing devastation in Dewe, and with their 15,000 total, they are ready to move through northern Galactica space and kill everyone.
Terran Colony - The remnants of the UE forces, trying to make a living on F-25.
Beware, the Prylak are the greatest danger right now...

This is just to remind everyone (the I'ase) that my race, the Qan, will send a fleet through to kill you (evil laugh) (true, I'm just going to try hard, but coonsidering my weoponry, what'll stop me?)

All the problems we face in the United States today can be
traced to an unenlightened immigration policy on the part of
the American Indian.
--- Pat Paulsen
The MA fleet instantly called for reinforcements from the MA, as well as from the Zidagar and Zacha. They then charged forward and used their highly powerful close-range weaponry, mainly proton weapons (which are extremely power, over twice as powerful as normal inferno weapons) and maneuverability to great advantage over the much large Galactica fleet. As the MA fleet fought and drew the Galactica ships closer to the planet, defense cannons on the surface and on the station began to open up with large fusillades of pursuit missiles which caused large amounts of havoc in the Galactica lines.
It was at this moment that Captain Firebirds fleet (minus Firebird, he had to stay back at Emalghia) entered the system and sent off volly after volly of weapons fire into the Galactica fleet. Followed close behind was the rest of Firebirds fleet which had been a little late. It was composed of 20 Ravens, and they were dragging behind them (via tractor beams) 10 Miranu frieghters, all loaded with large amounts of warheads and explosives, as well as some special sub-space explosives (prototype sub-space inhibitors that don't work and are now used as bombs).
Going as fast as they could, the Ravens launched the frieghters into the Galactica fleet. The massive explosions destroyed over 200 ships and damaging many more. As the Ravens and other MA ships charged, the Zacha and Zidagar reinforcement fleets arrived.
The Zacha, with their excellent piloting skills and deadly though small vessels, wreacked havoc on Galactica fighters and frigates while the Zidagar, with their heavily armed and advanced warships, charged through the Galactica fleet, taking down anything in site.

OOC: Due to inactivity, I am taking control of the Azdgari.
- - -
Azdgari Prime, situated now on Dames, had been widely inactive for the past few weeks. Galactica had token forces situated outside their territory, but the Azdgari had not made any move at them, and thus no battles had taken part. The Azdgari Empire had merely watched the battles in and around F-25, watched Galactica's moves and the moves of other races, old and new, and they had chosen this time as the time to strike.
Almost a thousand vessels of Azdgari green were in orbit of the three moons of Azdgari, as they were toned up to the necessary status for combat. Battlegroups 1 through 10 were either waiting to be prepared or down on the moons, having their fuel tanks filled, their rocket launchers prepared and their crew going through the ritual of drinking publicly before a battle.
Songs of battle were sung a thousand times over in that system as everything was prepared. The Azdgari rejoiced even before the heated combat would begin. Their entire force was ready to strike not just Battlegroups 1 through 10, but 11 through 20 and 21 through 30. Each battlegroup consisted of approximately a hundred ships, twenty Azdgari Warships, thirty five Azdgari Aradas and fourty five Azdaras. Long ago the Azdgari had worked in raiding fleets, but now they were formalised into battlegroups and strong naval binds. They were still the helions of the stars, use every part of space available and shunning most command, but now they were organised.
The day was nigh when the Azdgari would take their revenge on the Galactica Empire that had tried to steal from them the glory of power. Now, the galaxy would see the Azdgari, a race now melded with the Odine so much it could not be seen, to make them the greatest raiders in existance.
The wars had not yet started.
Emperor Yoo Oe's Chambers, Azdgari Prime
Yoo Oe, emperor of the Azdgari, was sifting through many horrid datafiles, scanning the status of all available military ships, which he had been doing for hours now. He smiled faintly every time the report mentioned another fully prepared battlegroup, awaiting orders. Yoo Oe was so engrossed in his pastime that at first he didn't realise that First Commander Kiarok was standing at the door patiently.
When he finally did recognise Kiarok's presence, he looked up and smiled, not in the least worried abut how long he'd left Kiarok waiting.
"Greetings, commander. What news do you have?" Yoo Oe, pushing the datafiles away as he spoke. Yoo Oe remained seated, but did not offer Kiarok the seat in front of his desk.
Kiarok saluted Yoo Oe crisply, not saying a word until Yoo Oe delivered the ceremonial "at ease". Kiarok then barely made a move afterwards, other than to lower his hand. His back remained as straight as it had before.
First Commander Kiarok was more an Odine than everything else, and that could be seen by the very white complexion of his skin and the remarkable Odine features of extremely long, pointed ears, purple eyes and height - Kiarok was almost seven feet tall. He was commander of all Azdgari military forces, effectively Yoo Oe's general. He had oft wondered why he, an Odine, would be placed in such a high command, but Yoo Oe had remained adamant that it was due to his skill in combat.
"Battlegroups seven through ten are finishing their upgrades. Eleven through thirty are already at the jumping point of Molar, and the other battlegroups are on their way there with the speeds only we can achieve," Kiarok stated formally, his eyes on Yoo Oe at all times.
Yoo Oe nodded. "Get the other groups there as quickly as possible. We must act quickly. Our schedule requires that we take all of the formerly Zidagar space within two weeks, and if you fail..." Yoo Oe's voice sinks into a threatening one, and Kiarok nods calmly.
"I have suggested that our forces in Molar make the attack straight away, and that the remaining battlegroups move in afterwards," Kiarok stated, his mind working through several different battle plans even as he spoke.
Yoo Oe peered at Kiarok, wondering. "I want you in Terapin with the main forces. How do you intend to get there?"
"I shall take my Azdara, the Devilstar, and will get there in time. Do not worry, Emperor, I will oversee the battle," Kiarok replied.
Yoo Oe nodded. "That is not all, however." Yoo Oe leaned forward and turned on the communications link on his table. "Get Schevon in here this minute."
This minute, indeed, the man named Schevon came. He wore a long green coat and had the eyes of a scientist, or an engineer, or both.
"You called for me, your Imperial Majesty?" Schevon said in a dirty little voice. His back was stooped at all times, and despite the dishonour it did Yoo Oe, the Emperor didn't seem to mind.
"Tell my first commander about your project," the Emperor commanded bluntly. Schevon nodded, but didn't turn fully to Kiarok.
"There is some....new information, as well," Schevon began. "The project is to make a fast action fighter using all the combined technologies we have. To improve upon our...Azdara...and make the ultimate fighter, which will fill any role, and form the backbone of our forces.... You see, this fighter will not only be fast, but also be fully equipped with enhanced sensors, and...."
"We're producing a fighter," Yoo Oe said, stopping Schevon as he muttered on, "which we will call the Heavy Azdara. Larger, with two crew members, and more weaponry, it will use state of the art equipment all round."
"...umm....yes..." Schevon muttered. "We also have news that the penetration sensors will work. They will be able to penetrate most new energy cloaks - and we're certain that our opponents have been working on them - as well as providing accurate scans about the enemy vessels, including amount of fuel and such. Work on the Heavy Azdara's structure will begin now, and we'll garnish that research with the various equipment research we need for it. Right now, we're working on the penetration sensors."
Yoo Oe. "Good work, you are dismissed."
Schevon left, muttering as he did so.
Yoo Oo turned to Kiarok. "Think it's a good plan?"
Kiarok nodded slowly, thinking. "I can use it to make the Azdgari among the best."

That's all very nice, but where are the guns?

OOC: SilverDragon, this is totally unfair. The Pryhlak have 15,000 ships? How the hell am I supposed to even put a dent in that kind of firepower? It would be impossible even if they were the only thing I had to worry about. Hrmph.

High Admiral Yar was seething with rage as he finished reading the report on the attack on Dewe. "We'll have to cancel Operation Crushing Blow. Get me a commlink with Voit."
Voit's face appeared on the viewscreen, and the 2 High Admirals saluted each other. "Yes, Yar?" asked Voit.
"I assume you've read the reports from Dewe."
"Yes, Yar. These 'Prylak' are quite disturbing. I'm already retreating my forces, and we're on our way to Galactica Prime."
Yar sighed and said, "Yes, we'll have to pull out from MA space. I just hope they don't launch a counter-attack while we are off fighting the Prylak."
"Sensor reports indicate that these aliens have thousands more ships," noted Voit, "I'm going to recommend that we attempt to evacuate civilians that area of Galactica space, then issue a general recall of Fleet forces from that area."
Yar thought hard, then responded, "I don't like it at all. That would be extremely cowardly," Voit began to interrupt, but Yar cut him off, "...but, it is our only choice. I'll see you at Galactica Prime."
Yar then closed the commlink, and the two fleets he was commanding began to hyperspace towards the Galactica system...

BattleDoctor was no more pleased than Yar or Voit was at the news of the attack on Dewe. What made him even madder was that Fleet scouts and sensor sweeps reported that the Prylak have at least 10,000 ships, maybe even more. BattleDoctor had no choice but to appeal to his hated enemies for support.

As you may already know, a strange alien force known only as the Prylak has been attacking Galactica systems in the North Tip over the last few days. Their numbers are in the thousands, and they possess great firepower... the Prylak destroyed the enitre defense fleet of Dewe without losing more than a few fighters. Though at the moment it may seem as if this is a good thing for you, soon enough it will be your problem to. If they are allowed to progress any further, it will be but a matter of time until they reach Azdgari and MA space, where they will lay waste to your fleets and planets. Therefore I, Emperor BattleDoctor of the Galactica Empire, am asking you to help us in our hour of need. Please respond.

OOC: Battledoctor, most likely every single other race in the game will work with you to defeat the Prylak, and that is quite possible. You have to understand you're no longer fighting flies, like you were with us. You're fighting a bigger opponent, like the rest of us have been doing for a while.
And if you still think it's too much, I'll hold a vote to lower it to 10,000.
I'm sorry if I'm upsetting anyone here - I DON'T want to do that.

Lord Gwydion was pleased to hear that the attack of the Dewe system was successful, and quickly ordered much more of the fleet to enter the other galaxy. Soon hundreds upon hundreds of frigates, carriers, and fighters poured through the warphole. Marine transports stuffed as tightly as possible with the best marines in the Prylak galaxy were escorted through the various systems to Dewe to take over the planet.
A lone shuttle took off from the planet at Dewe, only to be shot down instantly by trigger-happy Wraith fighter pilots.
All 47 Wraith fighters* were rocketing through the Dewe system, instantly incinerating all non-Prylak ships that attempted to move through the system. Many transmissions were picked up that came from the planet in Dewe, but all were stopped by the Prylak carriers who picked them up.
Soon marine transports were escorted down into the atmosphere of the planet by Hellcat fighters. With a constant barrage of photon bolts and the occasional dumbfire rocket, the planetary defences were almost immediately destroyed. Within minutes, the planet was in Prylak hands, and the fleet was ready to invade another system.
---
*Two Wraith fighters, two Longbow Missileboats, and two Hellcat fighters were destroyed in the previous battle, and not six Wraith fighters.
