I just did a search and couldn't find anything about this, which makes me believe it's something that should be incredibly easy that I'm just missing somehow.

I just started DiD and I have the two pieces of parchment. My quest scroll says I should find the river portal, but I have looked everywhere and I can't find it. I've talked to just about everyone I could find in the towns, and I've been everywhere I could think of, still no luck.

Note, while looking for the river portals I found the Hag's house on the island in the river. She assumed I'd already talked to 'Jimmy'- this seems like a bug, a small one, but a bug nonetheless.

In the main PoG game, if you have met the elf Orobas he will have activated some portals to make travel easier. Two of these are on the banks of the Tearos River.

Wow, you did get kind of far afield. I have to admit this is a bug. I did not anticipate anyone would find her before the quest to do so was given. I will check to see if this will mess up your game in any way. I don't think so, but if I find a problem I'll post back with another reply. ~RD

Ok. I now know that you are playing a conjurer with Spells Expander. You used the spell Relocate to get onto her little island. The jump spot to reach the Hag does not become active until AFTER you have met and talked to Jimmy. When you go back to her in the normal course of the game she will no longer give her introductory speach (because you have read it already) but will ask you if you have enough to pay for information.

I did attempt to make her inaccessable before her time, but you outfoxed me. One of the problems in using other than normal means to get places is that sometimes you jump the track of the storyline. A cautionary note: When you do get the quest to go to Troll Central, do not use Portal to get there. You will miss another important step if you do so. This caution is in the Readme. ~RD

P.S. When I was writing this plugin an experienced member of this community told me that the players would find ways to break my plugin that I had not dreamed of. (Stark, you were right!)

Thanks RD, I somehow only knew about the portal to get into Orobas' room, I'll poke around some more and try to find the others.

I actually did read the readme file, so I got the part about walking to troll central, thanks though.

You're right, I am playing a conjurer w/spells expander. I saw the blue dot on the map, and it piqued my curiosity. I did the same thing with Bernard using the blink spell, but he blasted me back across the river.
