What does DSN stand for anyway? I keep thinking Deep Space Nine, but that makes no sence at all.

I know that at NASA (maybe you've heard of them, just a little bigger than ATMOS) DSN is stands for their Deep Space Network. I think in this case it's either a redherring or some kind of cataloging number system along the lines of the New General Catalog or NGC.
