After defeating the Kytaan at Xarnez, where do I find the remnant of the Kytaarn Fleet?
-
Do you mean the mission string where you've sided with the Xarnez, and your mission objective is to find and destroy the remnants of the Kytaari fleet, and upon completion, you're supposed to return to Quera??
While we're aking questions about this string, I've got one too:
In a later mission, which simply says "Attack Xarnez", and the Xarnez admiral gives instructions that "we" are supposed to destroy the Kytaari ships in orbit, while another unit attacks the Kytaari on the ground, I've destroyed all Kytaari units in orbit (lots and lots of them!) several times, but each time I return to base, the mission is not acknowledged as completed.
I'm getting sick of doing the same attack over and over again, with nothing happening afterwards - does anyone (Bomb??) know what I'm doing wrong?
"Attack Xarnez" doesn't mean "Dominate Xarnez", does it?------------------
-
Yes that is the mission, I've destroyed all of the ships in orbit, then they tell you to find the remnants of the Kytaan fleet. I need to know where that is.

Then, if I remember correctly (for some reason, I was in a hurry when doing that mission), the Kytaari fleet is lurking in one of the empty systems near Fegtith. I'm afraid I don't remember which one.
Now, anyone else with an answer for my question?

Thanx it was the UX-676 system, but now I destroyed all the ships and landed on Quera... nothing happened.

Everything worked fine for me at Quera after that mission.
As I don't know the situation for your game/pilot, and I'm also playing this plug for the first time, I don't think I can help you there.Any F-25 2.0 freaks or contributors or beta testers out there who know the answers to our questions??

Yeah. Sorry, I've been busy with some things the past few days. Here we go..

You'll have to be just a bit more specific on the name of the mission. Since there are no missions entitled just "Attack Xarnez," I can't be sure which you are on. There is "Counter-attack Xarnez" and "Assault Xarnez I," etc, so let me know so I can help you get through it.

Sorry, you may need to make a second go at it. There are 14 ships to destroy, and some may have escaped without you seeing them. Go back, and there will probably be one or two ships sneaking back in.

Ok, I'll try to be as specific as possible: just had a look at the F-25 2.0 missions with Mission Bits Reporter, and as far as I can make out, the mission(s) I mean are numbers 469 Counter-attack Xarnez / 470 A Bold Plan.
According to the admiral's instructions in A Bold Plan, I destroyed all the Kytaar forces in orbit around Xarnez (including the ones that are not immediately hostile from the moment I jump into the system), but upon return to base in the neighbouring system, I'm back where I started in the mission.Hope that's precise enough for you to help me out...

**Sorry, but before my unanswered question disappears to page 2, I'll give it a little refreshment.
