      What does the Marines outfit do? Help capture ships, or something?

    • The marines take over a station in one mission. They leave some gear behind that helps raise ship capture percentages.

      Correct. It increases your chances on capturing enemy vessels. In theory, I guess it gives your crew members extra firearms and such.

      This a an idea I have often considered for my plugin. Basically making two seperate outfits: Pistol Firearms and Rifle Firearms. The Pistol outfit wouldn't cost too much, but it would arm your entire crew with these weapons, and give you an increased chance of capturing vessels. The Rifle Firearms outfit would be pretty expensive, but give your crew some nasty firepower, and for instance double your chances in taking a hostile vessel.

      Anyhow, just an idea. 🙂

      If you're capturing an enemy ship by force, don't you think your crew must already be armed?
