    • Trinity plugin download problems

I am trying (twice now) to download the Trinity Plugin to my WinXP box and expand it with Stuffit (latest version downloaded off of web yesterday) and the expand fails everytime at the very end of the expand. Anyone know what's up with that or how to fix it?

    • great here i am replying to my own post.. doing a search I see others have had the same problem - an expand error "unknown error #3" at the end of the expand sequence. I am wondering if it's a problem with Version 8 of the stuffit expander for Windows. Sounds like folks using 7.5 and earlier versions never had a problem.

That being said, I'm still having the problem and don't know how to get around it. Anyone feel like providing a site with it zipped or something?

I did order the CD, and if all else fails hopefully it will be on the CD and NOT stuffed (should be plenty of room there, I'd imagine).

    • Welcome to the boards Mr. Lymang!

Couple of things quick before I answer your question:

      1. Please be patient on the web boards. Not everyone is logged in when you are, and not everyone will know how to answer your question. It would be pretty rediculous for a bunch of people to post, "I don't know" in your thread, and wouldn't help you very much. So when you post a topic please be patient and give those who may know the answer time to see you message and respond to it.

      2. The CD that you have ordered will have Trinity on it, but it won't have any data in it so it won't be of any use to you. Fun, no? 🙂

I downloaded a fresh copy of trinity and verified that it can not be unstuffed with Stuffit 8.0. I have an opened copy so I zipped it with stuffit 8 and it is currently uploading to my web site. I'll post again when it is available for your downloading pleasure.

Once you have the file unzip it, and grab the folder "(x) Trinity Plugin" from inside the folder "Trinity Plugin Folder" and place that folder( "(x) Trinity Plugin" ) into your PoG->Plugins folder. You should be all set then.

Good luck, let us know if you have any other problems.

    • Alright, you can grab your zipped copy of Trinity (url="http://"http://www.donshonda.com/pog/Trinity_Plugin.zip")here(/url).

Please let me know when you have it so I can remove it from my server.

    • Actually, I had this problem a couple of times getting something from RD, but it seemed to be a non-fatal error, everything still seemed to work. lymang, if you got anything out of the unstuffing process, try using it anyway, the worst it can do is force you to restart your computer 🙂

Thanks very much and very kind of you! I have downloaded it and expanded it with Winzip without any issues.
