i remember the topic, oh way back in summer, where we made a shortened version of every single race and faction of a race in the entire game. allow me to recall some:
zidagar = ziddies
igadzra = iggies
azdgari = aggies
human = huggies
emalgha = eggies
miranu = mirriesi completely forgot all of teh others, oh well

"Huggies," in addition to being a popular brand name diaper, is actually longer than "humans." Similarly, "mirries" is longer than "Miranu."

**Actually, it's Dreadnaught. Least, it should be. Can't remember if it is or not. But that was the name of the warship in 1906, the one that started the arms race that began WW1, HMS Dreadnaught.

Indeed, it was originally the H.M.S. Dreadnaught (or "fear nothing") that coined the term. However, the o spelling has come into use with at least equal, and probably greater, frequency, and it is the o spelling that appears as the Voinian ship's name in EVO.

Possibly the most common mistake I see in misspellings is that people often spell "Igadzra" the race as "Igazra", the Igadzra's powerful warship. The only difference between the two is the presence of the d.
