quick update: it might even be Ebonncito's game. could be. maybe i could learn assembly for the powerpc processor and help them with it. i'm sure it couldn't take too long. it is a reduced instruction set processor afterall. i'll say max 50 opcodes to learn. DONE!!! i'll be right over boys. give me time and i'll reverse engineer macosx. hell, darwin is opensource anyway. cocoa and carbon will be a cinch. i actually went to a osx server demo the other day and i swear, the most common phrase was, 'Apple owns....". hehehe. im 0wn3d by apple. but i must digress. oh, hang on. the point was, soon apple's new slogan will be "all your base are belong to us" or "all your X are belong to us" or "all your support are belong to us" or even better "frog blast the ventcore". now i digress.

Er. That was kinda, random. Oh and PPC isn't pure RISC, it has a lot of CISC features in it. And even pure RISC chips like MIPS or Crusoe are hard to learn, imagine trying to learn a Pentium 4's assembler! You see over the years chips have gotten a lot more complex. Even the easiest of chips (the MIPS, the best to). The most intelligent of the geeks have a lot of trouble learning this. I know only 1 person who has learned it. A college Linux network admin learned it over a grueling semester.

Gamewise, it rocks. Though i think your insanity has given some people the wrong impression. Americans don't like crazies. That's why a republican is in power. originally it was a joke, but then somewhere along the line it got all mucked up Chinese Whispers Style and we're stuck with it.

But, I'd reccommend this game to everyone who's ever wanted network EVO.

They're not about EVO anymore, they're about people pretending to be people who don't exist and then pretend that tapping on keys is the same as talking. Now I don't know about you, but the Webster Dictionary sure does classify that as being crazy pg 563.

Imagine my relief when I discovered this topic wasn't yet another advocacy forum for Ambrosia making multiplayer Escape Velocity. Anyway, I can virtually guarantee you that any multiplayer EVO project in the works is not stolen from Ambrosia, unless it simply uses the original EVO engine and modifies it.

and then i said to strafer, i said:'wouldn't it be funny if clouds were made of anvils?!!?' and he was all like, 'yeah, then we'd have hell to pay for!!!' and i'm like 'hahahah, look at me! i'm an anvil cloud!' and i ran around the room looking for an exit. then the sky of needles!!

and because we're all just insane people believing we're space captains having dogfights with renegades and delivering goods, i hyperjumped outta there into the ambrosia offices. it's like a mad house in there, there's like stuff with little yellow stickers on and desks and stuff. blew my mind it did. that's when i loaded the evo source onto my floppy disk.

and that's when this guy who made the game jumped me from behind and stole the thing. i believe he left via the fire escape but i let off a few needles into the opposite wall just incase.

next post i'll start making fun of americans.
