    • Bronev Plating

All this talk about bronev plating.
Is this a plug-in thing or am I missing it somewhere?
And if there are missions i have to do to get it, can someone give me a hint?

    • Bronev plating is a special type of armor used by the Voinians. It's strong, but heavy, and incredibly useful in the Crescent. To get it, you either have to do the Voinian missions, or finish the Paaren Station missions for the UE (I think, but I'm not sure), after which the plating will be available at Paaren Station.

Badminton Overhead Clear: Get under and slightly behind the falling birdie. Have racket ready in backswing position. Extend racket toward sky and contact shuttle at highest point. The racket face should be open. Snap wrist forward on contact. Shuttle should fly to your opponent's backcourt. -- shayborg's tip of the week

    • You need to work for the Voinians. Go to the pax bar if you have a dangerous rating and have not begun to work for the UE. I think you can actually work some for the UE but you will be able to do the Voinain string if you do what is in the first 2 sentences.

    • You can't get it for the UE Paren Mission's. Only for the Voinian's. And it is good when traviling in the crescent. Their phase cnnon's barely do anything to armer, their made to eleinate sheild's.

    • At pareen station you can only get Dospect Armor (+500 to armor). Only by working for the Voinians can you get Bronev plating (+1000 to armor). You also get Dospect if you work for them. You can actually put both Dospect and Bronev on your ship (i think) 😉

    • The last post is correct. However the points shown are in res edit units. Those values divided by 10 give you the actual "shipyard units" shown in the game.

Ohh so that is how it works. See, someone told me it was 1000 and 500 but that sounded kinda high, but i have seen those numbers in various posts and on various webpages and so I went with them even though they did not seem right.

As a side note, shield generators add 50 to your shiled?? I'm guessing that is also in resedit units, right?? That would mean they add 5 shipyard points to your shield?

    • Yeah, all those are resedit values.
The true values are /10. So, Dospect gives +50 armor, Bronev +100 armor, shield generators give +5 shields........

    • I think it would be useful to get a 2 ton each layer armour, maybe with +5
      increase........ Hmmmmm......... I'll make one.

    • Try the Titanium plating in Extra Outfits 1.2 which you can download from the Ambrosia website. You won't regret it!
It is the best outfit plug as it makes it possible to re-buy the Cloak when you change ships. It also includes lots of other goodies!
