How many escorts can you get? I've heard that you can get up to 32 but i can only get like 12 before it says that i have reached the limit. Whats the number?

12 is the limit for real escorts. main ships, you know.
you can hack outf. resorces, to hold like 100 fighters, and you can have around 30-something fighters out.

The limit is 6.

In EV, in EVO, in different versions of EV, in different versions of EVO, with
hacking, without hacking, with fighters, without fighters, caught or bought, no
matter how big the ships are, no matter where you bought them, no matter how much
they cost - the limit is 6.

If you let out your fighters and then change ship, you can get infinite escorts,
but that's the ONLY way.

Yeah... But I think that bug will be fixed in EV:N
Plus, if you get more than 6 escorts... it's just TOO easy. I think the limit is cool.
