Thanks alot for that poll. Though I still do not know what ship to buy. I started new just a few weeks ago, and still am flying the third ship, a freight-courier. I still like it, so you could count that as a vote if you want. But I want another ship, and still cant decide

On the matter of Voinian Cruiser vs Igazra, the Igazra is better, in my opinion.
AI vs AI, the VCruiser wins, but the Igazra is faster, and in a long run I think better.

The Cresent Warship IS the best ship in the game, well, right after the Voinian Dreadnought. It really reminds me off the Super Star Destroyer in Return of the Jedi, the one the crashed into the Death Star and killed it.

Sorry if I ramble on, but...
One ship that I haven't seen voted for yet is the Miranu Heavy Freighter. Despite it's disadvantages, slow speed, weak shields and armour, not to mention extremely slow shield regeneration, the ship is actually quite good, for my purposes. In case you haven't guessed, I'm a smuggler. I have one Emalgha upgrade and 80 mass expansions, plus the Zidagar systems upgrade on my ship. That leaves TONS of room for weapons and other cool gadgets. My weapon of choice is the Mine layer. It rocks! I can take out the Voinian dreadnought just as easily as an extremely fast crescent ship. Even with all my upgrades, I still have room for 100 tons of cargo. I can run guns, Saalian brandy, or just regular items, and rake up millions. I try not to get to involved in any political conflicts, as it makes running shipments to profitable places really complicated. The Voinian ships are good, but to get them, I'd have to anger the UE, and I'm not up to doing that. With my other pilot file, I have a UE Cruiser, with a total Voinian conversion pack on it, not to mention my two UE carriers and Four destroyers as escorts. My favorite ship still happens to be the MHF, an excellent ship for all freighting purposes.

Ok, I agree to the freight-courier, since i still use it. But i want a look at the Azdara, Igazra and the Zidara, but i have no idea where they are sold.....
Ok, I am a newby, as I have said before. Can somebody give me a general direction where to look?

Well, Sterling, in order to buy any of the Strand ships, you have to get them to like you by doing missions for them. That requires a good CR and some exploration. Search through Miranu space and the southern part of the Crescent if you want to work for a Strand. Be aware, though, that in most cases you can only work for one Strand.

My best ship has to be the Lazira, b/c you can easily upgrade it to a warship, and it has good speed, armour shields etc

You cant do any thing with an Adrada I have tried I like to use Igazara. I defeated every body in the galaxy with one of those.
Put me down for Igazara (there realy usefull in the Voinian area).

well, right now I have a igadzra... and all i have to say is that it is big, bad, useful and powerful, but very very boring... too boring.
The point in the game where you have most fun is when you run around and kill big baddies with your fast Arada.

hey i vote for the shuttle. i got to deadly with that baby! only had 3 blaze cannons and a fuel scoop. got a few million credits with it. cos i like speed a relatively good firepower. right now i have an arada(stole it from a renegade). the shuttle can almost out run a voinian heavy fighter and can destroy over 10 at a time.
