I have started the Igadzra string and am at the mission where you are to test the plasma siphon against the A.S.S Whatever. However, I am having trouble finding this ship. Any help as to where it can be found would be appreciated. Oh and by the way, I always thought the plasma siphon was a beam weapon. Apparently this is not the case.

Okay, first, it's not in Notil - that would be a bit close :). You'll find it in the Racet system though - 4 jumps from Igadzra, you can find it. And it had me stumped the first few times I got it too - I was looking up in Azdgari space!
And the plasma siphon is a really neat secondary I reckon. Unlimited use, lovely big fireballs - no space taken up at no cost, AND it transfers to a new ship when you do! The green Igadzra beam you may be thinking about is only seen in the Zidagar mission string - you discover that the Igadzra have tried to copy the Phased Beam, and see a few Igazras with the beam on them. But you can't get it from working with the Igadzra, outside of plugins.
