Hey, just so you know, I am the maker of some plug-ins out there (gold, AM, Filter), and it seems that my mushroom cheat was released the same day as the other one was released. I had never looked at these web-boards before, and did not know of it's existance, so I was not competing with him/her at all. I just started playing the game, decided to check-up on my old plug-in, Gold, and saw that it had about 2,000 dloads, so I decided to release some of my other plugs that I had kept in storage for a while.

P.S- If anyone else here beta-tested PoG, were they dissapointed when they saw how the new Guuardian looked compared to the old one??

I was a little chagrinned to see your apple/mushroom cheat come out on the same day The Mushroom Lady did, but I didn't think you were trying to compete with it. The two have different niches. Yours is, by your own admission, a cheat. Mine's more of a regular plug-in: you have to find Marixa the Mushroom Lady first, and you have to buy your mushrooms. I also added new mushrooms for conjurers. Some people will use yours, some people will use mine, some people might use both.

I admit to using the gold plugin on occaision: when I need a new character to get to a certain point, fast (i.e, to beta-test stuff), the easiest way to do it is to load up on gold and equip the character to the max before going anywhere. It's amazing what a difference expensive equipment makes early in the game.

Yup, some people will use both, me being one of them. I use the Faere(sp.) mushroom for my conjurors more than anything else. (Though I had to use my rangers "eagle eye" to find offroads). If you want the truth, the reason all of my plug-ins are simply "hit a button and you have something", it is because I made them all about 3 days after the final version of Coldstone was released, and I was just having some fun making simple plug-ins. I was going to be working on stuff that deleted some of your gold when you used it, but I noticed that sometimes I press these buttons by mistake, and don't want to lose gold when I do, so I just left everything free.

P.S-At first I didn't feel comfortable buying, of all things, food, from a crazy lady, but I figured no-one would make a plug-in that acctually killed you, so I took the chance.
